cgeldmacher
https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/maple/165844?colleges=show#college_choices This kid is an undecided 3 star that had an offer from Oklahoma State. 6'8" power forward.
slufan13
We need a PG. Bishop is good, but even if he takes the next step as a sophomore, we still need at least one more PG if we want to be good

Remains to be seen.this past two years were so godawful its hard to really evaluate. 0 coaching, nothing learned, wasted time.
JMM28
http://m.stltoday.com/sports/college/slu/billiken-beat/ford-ready-to-recruit-to-determine-if-he-ll-fill/article_52f9aa4a-7d25-5a0b-a6dc-ab1476ae6564.html Sounds like he might not fill all scholarships. Not opposed to one 5th year type.
Clock_Tower
-all local ties, which is why I would be glad to see a Tatum, Claggett, Frazier etc on the staff, not a requirement though Wouldn't it be better for SLU to keep former players at the highschool and AAU levels rather than to promote them? For those that dont remember, for years SLU lacked alumni at the highschool and AAU levels which had former Mizzou guys, the Post Dispatch and KMOX were filled with Mizzou grads, etc.
wgstl
A 5th year Center could possibly allow us to compete next year. Move Jolly to PF
wgstl
what do we have? PG - Bishop - Hines SG - Roby - Bartley SF - Crawford - Moore PF - Agbego- Welmer - Jolly C - Neufeld - Gillman
JMM28
A 5th year Center could possibly allow us to compete next year. Move Jolly to PF I'd be skeptical of any type of 5th year guy that would want to come to SLU. Most of those guys are looking to play in the NCAA or move up to the big boy conferences. jimbofive
Move Jolly to PF Majerus would have had Jolly playing PF. Poo Facilitator. Jolly would have been forced to carry Majerus' around in a towel.

gravilst
I wish we would get a solid PG. I thought there was a solid PG still undecided that played with DR at White Station.

Quality Is Job 1
If Rick had signed Jolly, I would have been concerned about his mental health not his cardio problems. Are you talking about the same coach who signed Ruben Cotto, Justin Jordan, and Jared Drew?

JMM28
If Ford gets Charlie Moore on campus, I'd take a glass of koolaid. If he gets a commitment, pass me the Heaven's Gate version.
cgeldmacher
Whether or not we get this guy, I like that we are on this list. I know all it means is that we contacted him, but that fact makes me feel better than what was happening before.
TheChosenOne
I watched Charlie Moore play at the O'Fallon Shootout this winter, he is a stud. I would doubt we have much of a shot at landing him, but maybe Ford can prove me wrong.
Pistol
Charlie Moore (Morgan Park, Chicago) is a kid we were recruiting before he committed to Memphis. He trimmed his list to VCU, Cal, and Memphis before committing. We were on him before his stock jumped in the past year, so there's at least some history and familiarity with SLU. Obviously a lot has changed on our end but that's for the better.
