JettFlight5
I know at the height of the discussion for the C7, a couple people had mentioned the A-10 threatening teams who didn't get the Big East call with a championship ban. I haven't heard much about it recently, but a friend of mine asked me about it this afternoon. Would the A-10 do it?
Duff Man
I know at the height of the discussion for the C7, a couple people had mentioned the A-10 threatening teams who didn't get the Big East call with a championship ban. I haven't heard much about it recently, but a friend of mine asked me about it this afternoon. Would the A-10 do it? On what grounds? Neither Temple nor Charlotte were banned for their lame duck A10 tournament. How could they ban teams who are rumored to be leaving when they didn't ban teams who actually were leaving? JMM28
The silence is deafening on the Big East as well. I think the ban was just if we had a lame duck year in the A10.
bbtds
How would you like to be the seniors on the George Mason teams who were just banned from winning the CAA 2013 championships because their school announced a conference change?
MusicCityBilliken
How would you like to be the seniors on the George Mason teams who were just banned from winning the CAA 2013 championships because their school announced a conference change? They lost to Northeastern in the CAA tourney. So, what your saying is, by chance if they won it, the championship trophy would have went to the losers? They also played in the CBI. Fortunately the loss (which was 3 games series) to Santa Clara in the finals made our Santa Clara loss from a bad loss to neutral. So the seniors got plenty of post season. I would feel worse if I played on a Fordham, its been years since they even qualified for any kind conference tourney or post season tourney. I think he meant the Spring sports teams, ie, baseball, softball, track and field, tennis, golf, and any other Spring sports they have.
