Since the name has come out on this board:

Lucas Stivrins is the son of former NBA player Alex Stivrins, who played basketball at the University of Colorado. The elder Stivrins played 10 years of professional basketball, mostly in Europe, but he had a stint with the Phoenix Suns in the early 1990s. Since his dad was a Buffalo, they may have an advantage right now.

Stivrins has offers from Tulsa and Nevada, while also receiving strong interest from Colorado, Clemson and SLU (I'm not sure if we have offered yet or not). He's big and resembles Manning a little. But he can shoot the 3. Clips are available on Youtube.

He was a qualifier as a senior at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, last year and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Stivrins played club basketball with the AZ Red Shirts, averaging 18 points, 14.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.

Over the summer, Stivrins -- who holds dual citizenship in the US and England -- competed in the FIBA European Championships with the Under 18 England National Team. He helped England advance out of pool play with five straight wins, and they settled for the bronze medal in the A Division. Stivrins earned a starting position and averaged 3.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 12 minutes of play per game.

Qualifier out of high school = he can transfer from juco without an associates degree/after one season.

Considering we have nobody lined up to be a sophomore next season getting him or any juco qualifier would help even out the classes a bit.

Whoa. The guy is caucasion. If you couldn't tell from his albino complexion then look at his vertical leap. At 6'11" he just gets above the rim.

On a side note, I just bought his dad's basketball card for 65 cents. Damn shipping was 2 bucks.

Good purchase. You also get a terrific shot of the back of the great Cedric Ceballos absolutely free of charge!

So is the point of this race discussion intended to let him know that some on the board are racist? Because if it is you have accomplished it. What difference does it make.

Hey, who moved the cheeseman?
