Sounds pretty bad considering they called the game. Hope it's not as bad as first thought.

Not to make light of the injury but while searching for more info about it I came across this:

8-24-11 - Exhibition: McGill stuns NCAA's Wildcats in college basketball

Simon Bibeau of St. Bruno, Que., and Tristan Renaud-Tremblay of Montreal each tallied 22 points as McGill stunned the University of New Hampshire Wildcats 77-74 in men's preseason basketball, Wednesday.

It snapped McGill's 10-game losing streak to NCAA teams and marked their first win over a Div. 1 program in three years, dating back to an 88-83 decision over the Virginia Cavaliers on Aug. 31, 2008.

Exhibition losses to Canadian teams aren't that unusual I guess.

Kwamain Mitchell Injured vs. Carleton

Per SLU Media Relations:

OTTAWA, Ontario – Saint Louis junior guard Kwamain Mitchell was injured in the Billikens’ exhibition game at Carleton University Friday. For precautionary measures, Mitchell was transported to a local hospital for further observation.

Mitchell was along the sideline when he fell backward into metal bleachers with 3:13 remaining in the contest. At that point, the game was called with Carleton leading 80-56.

The injury does not appear to be serious, but additional observation is necessary. Further updates will be released as soon as they become available.

Sounds like a precaution for either concussion or neck injury. Prayers to Kwamain.

Was he in the game? Did he pass out? This seems odd.
