ACE
How about the new arena being the site of next year's high school All-Star Game. Just move it across the street from Harris Stowe. This will give our heralded incoming freshmen an early chance to play in the building, it will give fans a chance to get a sneak preview of the building and it will be a great venue for all the players. Having it there would likely boost attendance for the event. Our AD should pursue this.

Billikan
Interesting idea. I wonder if there are NCAA rules that prohibit this kind of game to be played on the campus of a school who has players who will attend? As I recall, it was at Maryville prior to Harris S. VTIME
Why would that boost attendance so much? Is Harris-Stowe that far of a distance from the new arena a 100 ft away or is it because fans will want to see the new arena? It was a good event for Harris-Stowe and I dont see why it shouldnt stay there. Plus there is an anti-Demetrious Johnson bias by some posters on this board, arent posters on here against DJ. I'm not, I think he does a lot of good,, but I know there are some who are.
brianstl
It would be a boost to attendance because it would be the first basketball game in the new building and would be first chance many people get to see it.
Westy03
DJ is a freaking clown. Put me in the camp against him. My bet is that the majority, if not all, are against DJ.

More fans would mean more $$$ which the organizers would like. It's a win-win for everybody.
VTIME
I agree and have no problem with that. I would be there. BTW how is SLU's grad program for Business Administration?
bauman
VTIME, if that is serious question, then I suggest you be smart enough to ask the proper resources for an answer to your question, not a bunch of Bills basketball fans. By the way, I think it is really good.
