Nate Latsch Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 With Shimmy's ability to recruit Illinois, she'd be a good fit with the Illini. Shimmy's done a great job with the Billikens. She's brought in some good recruiting classes despite having the same disadvantages that people claim make it difficult for the mens team to recruit. She has a vision for that program and I think she'll get it to where she wants it. Just look at the recruiting scams Ron Zook is involved in. Illinois is the laughing stock of the Big Ten Football scene and all of a sudden they get a top-5 recruiting class? Somehow that doesn't add up. Zook might be a great recruiter, but when Arellious Benn choses U of I over Notre Dame, red flags should have gone up.
