kwyjibo Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 BLKNS, I believe is correct in that there is no longer a formal requirement for the NIT team to be above .500. For the most part it is unlikely to happen very often (although it might happen to DePaul) as teams that expect to have trouble in the good conference schedule pretty easy in the non-conference (their SOS is pretty much guaranteed to be decent so they just want to get their wins in the non-conf).
