When did this email go out?  I wonder if it was sent out in in an attempt to keep people from freaking out.

It came to us late last night and I read it early this morning.

The NIT Quarterfinals are Tuesday and Wednesday.  The next potential game for ISU would be Tuesday.  Cincy has already moved into the slot as the opponent.

I assume this email didn't come from anyone official.  Or is the Search Committee communicating with the band and not the media or boosters?  Could be.

The AD wants the band to be at the official introduction/media announcement, so I'd imagine it's through official channels. The email was phrased that the entire department had been put "on notice" to prepare for it.

If it is definitely Schertz, Chris May is predicting an Indiana State loss either today or Tuesday night.  Anyone betting on that?

See, that's what I'm wondering. I'd bet against Indiana State losing their next game, so I wonder if it means anything differently.

    So Wednesday?

I mean, it could be any of those days, but average out to Wednesday, yeah 😂

In AD speak, it'll realistically be like Thursday at 9 pm or something.

Once in my office pool, a woman in accounting won the office pool through a combination of picking based on either which mascot was “cuter” or which teams colors were “cooler”. Humiliating defeat for everyone else in the office.

I'm in accounting and my British coworker is doing better than me.

Peyton was the most consistent player this season. She has improved every year.

I'm glad she's staying. It looks like having a floor general (Brooke Flowers, Julia Martinez) regardless of position, has given us a chance each year. I'd really like to see what a full Tillett roster looks like, we haven't really seen that yet. Our success the last two years really seems to have relied on Stone holdovers being given a chance in a new system.

We created alot of steals from our backcourt, but our interior defense was really, really bad.   Tillett had her rotation and didn't seem to stray from that.   I am still a huge supporter of her, but it seems like a few players didn't get much of a chance.

Do you know if Connor and Nicastro were Tillett recruits or were they signed by the previous staff?

Nicastro was in the last recruiting class of Lisa Stone, not sure about Connor.

Didn’t see them in yesterday when I looked, but they are there today. Better get busy in the portal to replace that depth, I doubt you’ll find a difference making high school player already not committed this late, but who knows. We need support inside and another PG, Julia Martinez had the most assists this year and she’s gone. Kennedy Calhoun can handle the ball, but has gotten into a lot of foul trouble.

I'm very concerned about next year. Hell, it's a minor miracle we even got post-season play this year. A .500 record each year regardless of post-season is going to wear thin, eventually.

We have limited info that tells us this is done. It's a good source but nothing is done until it's done.  Majerus was the USC coach for 15 minutes once.

I don't trust the AD so I too am nervous. But I do feel there's multiple quality candidates.  I hope there's plan A, B, C.

Anything new on Mack to Vandy? What's the hold up there?

Could UK be opening?  If i were UK, I'd fire Cal.  If they did that's a whole bunch of dominoes.

I have no idea even what's happening anymore, I've just been cruising on the assumption that we have Schertz, but yeah, as long as Chris May is here, my mind has no confidence.

The NCAA sponsors a new post-season tourney called the WBIT. They pick 32 teams for that then the WNIT picks 48 teams from the rest. So there are 144 teams playing post-season hoops. The NCAA doesn’t own the WNIT so they’re trying to run it out of business.

I keep thinking they could have come up with a better abbreviation considering the championship game could end up being abbreviated WBITC...
