It's because I have been highly critical of his refusal to accept anything other than the company line regarding the eligibility and compliance saga. I don't think much of him and he doesn't think much of me and by extension the podcast. I assume he thinks it was a nonstory and/or out of line to put the burner on blast.

Nothing personal was said. Clearly his son felt he needed to defend his father, he went at people in DM and replies. We were smartened up to who it was and confirmed by another account. So we tweeted it out.

I'm a big fan of the podcast but absolutely everyone who listened to Zac's take on the Jimerson foul is dumber for it. He fouled because he didn't know the score and thought we were down one. Look at the Billikens after the shot is made. Two guys are already back. When the camera comes back to the action, Jimerson is in the backcourt with his arms over his head because he realized he didn't know the score. He wasn't trying to stop a 3 on 2 fast break.
He's been a great Billiken and we all love him. That's not the point. The point is that you're supposed to be analyzing basketball and you come up with the most implausible take. They had no fast break. I'm flabbergasted that you spend 15 minutes breaking down the last 30 seconds and you cannot even follow the logic of the game. It has nothing to do with "the angle you were watching the play from." Do better.
I wasn't denying he fouled him thinking we were still down. What I was saying is that I didn't hate that he fouled him. He was past Jimerson and I didn't think we were in good position to defend the a final shot. So I wasn't overly upset with the foul. Maybe I wasn't clear, it happens. I have never pretended to know anything more about basketball than enough to be dangerous. I was having fun with a hot take. Luckily, the foul turned out to be just fun footnote on the game at this point so we can make light of it.

I don't think it was technical-worthy, but definitely a strange sequence.
Jimerson seemed to get whacked by Enright on the drive, but no call.
I’m curious to know if the attitude towards the shove would be different among a lot of people if it was a male cheerleader. It’s obviously a humorous sight for a 115 lb cheerleader to push a large basketball player, I am not sure if it’s the same if it’s a dude.

Hey thanks for listening to the show. Without listeners there’s no show. Bummer to hear you feel that way. Unfortunately Ford is the biggest topic going in our show’s world and he happened to take issue with fans, if we didn’t spend time covering it and/or filtered our thoughts on the matter it just wouldn’t be the show we both agreed to make.

Here’s the better question, how can we better utilize the band and DJ together to make a unique arena atmosphere. A call and response or back and forth type bit. Like the band plays certain parts of the song and the DJ hits a record scratch and then the OG recording plays, then he scratches again and the band takes the song back over. Do I know if this is possible? No, do I think it sounds cool as hell. God damned right.
