  1. Unbiased, basketball minds. Never listen!
  2. And they’re gonna go zone. If not, fire Mooney at half.
  3. They’re going to go zone - will see what we do.
  4. Few benches are more annoying than Richmond’s.
  5. Seems like the complaining we’ve all done is paying off. We’re getting the whistle when fouled so far.
  6. I think we need a phantom technical from someone on the bench, channeling the KState win in 2019. Got the boys going!
  7. Both need to defend him and crash the boards. Both TJ and Jnez are capable of being dominant rebounders, but too many times I see them watching the ball and trying to jump over someone rather than finding a body to box out.
  8. Back to the topic at hand, I think we need Jnez, TJ, or Deandre to go off for us to win (or all three to score 3+ points above average).
  9. Cherry picking quickly: Iowa - 5 appearances, Illinois - 3, NC State - 5 , Miami - 4, St. Mary's - 4 Billikens: 4!!! Suck it, Illinois. All in all, 7 or 8 is lofty, but I agree that we need more consistency.
  10. well, I am wrong... Add VCU to the list with Gonzaga and Nova. Impressive stuff over there. They definitely deserve more credit than Dayton, Bona, and us. Still sticking to my guns that less than 15 programs have made it 7+ times (but it may be closer to 20, so clearly not sticking to my guns)...
  11. I could be wrong, but I would guess less than 15 programs have made 7 or 8 of the last 10 tournaments. I would also guess the only programs to do that outside of a power 5 conference would be Gonzaga and Villanova. I like the lofty expectations, but I think bringing those down a little bit would be healthy.
  12. With the context of losing 3 best players we've had in quite some time, outside of the travis ford era, this would be an expected "rebuilding year"
  13. This is true, but I would argue we were playing good ball those last 3, including the loss at Bona.
  14. As I said in the wiz game thread, the whole season is out the window for everyone. Whoever stumbles these last 3 will not win in DC. Whoever wins out will be the favorite. The top 5 all have top 5 matchups, and we will see how they go. Also, there are lots of land mines out there (St. Joes, Rhode Island, La Salle, Mason).
  15. Counter point to "beat the traffic" - our crowd seems to grow by a thousand or so from the tip-off to first timeout. We have a very late arriving crowd.
  16. Yessir! Would love nothing more than complete carnage and the billikens come out as the sole representative of the A10 in the tournament. As we've seen, the last 3-4 games of the season are telling for who will be actual contenders (in the A10 and contenders to win a few in the NCAA). Throw out everything else, the win at boise and losses at Bona and Davidson, the time is now. When the 13'-14' team won 19 in a row and then lost 3 of the last 4, everyone knew we were in trouble. Same thing can happen to any of the top 6 teams in the league (all of which have nowhere near the winning streak as our 19 in a row). I am not convinced that Bona won't have trouble at St. Joes, same with Dayton at La Salle and at Richmond. In the same vain, I am not convinced we are going to pull off tomorrow, but I sure hope so. All in all, roll bills baby.
  17. My C2D: 100%. I cant be proven one way or the other until we play our last game in DC.
  18. Thanks for this. Essentially, we need Gibson to get his legs back.
  19. Line closed at -11, but I saw -12 for the last day. Incredible beat.
  20. Brutal brutal 3 pointer to cover/push the spread, saw -12 and -11. Might be seeing this one on SVP.
  21. Boy do I feel for Funk. 1,400+ points at a dog.
  22. Do not like seeing Okoro banged up at this point. Let’s get this game done quick.
