  1. I bet we hear Colin’s has had an injury for the last month+ but something recently made it worse. Dude is a warrior and is the straw that stirs the drink. He had to be hurting real bad to not play. Need to get him healthy asap. He hasn’t had a full year without nagging injuries (wrists have plagued him in the past).
  2. Thank you Martin and Deandre. Both had ups and downs, but I’m happy to have watched them do what they love. please god have Yuri’s injury not be serious and bring Perkins back
  3. I agree on the onslaught, but losing our only on conference player 24 hours before a tournament game isn’t a recipe for success.
  4. I just hope Yuri doesn’t get hurt the day before next years NCAA tournament game. If he doesn’t, it won’t end embarrassingly.
  5. the Yuri hole is amazing. No possible fill for him defensively let alone offensively.
  6. I would say maybe a few more but still baffling performance. Amazing we’re only down 5 without Yuri and them shooting this way
  7. It’s gonna be a small crowd. Generally people have deprioritized going to sporting events since Covid hit. There was a pitiful crowd at every NIT game last night, and I expect a slightly below average Chaifetz crowd tonight (better than every other NIT crowd, though).
  8. I agree, but I also feel it’s a tad inevitable. Every program loses 1 to 2 nowadays. I have faith our top 4 at the very least, if not top 5-7, will be back.
  9. Ish Leggett wouldn’t be a bad add for anyone… Travis is about to do what travis does this off-season. I expect an Okoro type transfer or two. Not necessarily a big, but someone that will impact the team immediately.
  10. Pretty impressive tournament… go win a few games and have some fun.
  11. I guess I just wish we played Dayton yesterday and Davidson today, but I don’t have a genie near by.
  12. It’s just the truth. Richmond was gassed yesterday and today but won the war of attrition (didn’t get hurt, yesterday, and didn’t rely on shooting, today). Helluva job and they deserved to win it all. Glad the league got 2 bids.
  13. Oh yeah, that’s why I said we were more efficient than them yesterday and today. Their legs were shot and didn’t shoot well either. Just won the war of attrition yesterday and today.
  14. All in all our fault for dropping those games
  15. I disagree. They had the same amount of butt naked, wide open shots, if not more. I was surprised Richmond had the same defensive game plan as us, but I guess it works with tired legs. The difference was today was their 3rd game in 3 days. For those that don’t believe 3 games in 3 days kills the legs after a 6 month season, this was a pretty perfect example. Loyer and Lee had open threes and combined for 2/13 today. We were more efficient yesterday than both exhausted teams in this one (and more efficient than rich yesterday). Just goes to show how awful the Umass and at Richmond losses were… if we had double bye, different story imo.
  16. Agreed on 90%, but I think Parker is a difference maker.
  17. If you’re Bonaventure/Schmidt, you probably want guys to move on. You’re digging a massive hole in recruiting/player dev/depth if you go on your 3rd straight year with the same starting 5 that gets 98% of minutes.
  18. Should be a good tournament. Per Lunardi’s latest bracket, the top 4 seeds will be SMU, Xavier, Wake Forest, OU and next 4 Dayton, BYU, VCU, SLU. I would love to play a few games against any of those teams.
  19. Selection show is at 8pm on espnU
  20. This is Loyer’s fourth season playing basketball. Unless he did the bare minimum, he should be a senior academically. That’s the problem with Davidson and no grad program, kids can’t stay around and just add a new major. We shall see what comes out of it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has to go elsewhere or goes pro.
