  1. I’m sitting near midfield, about five rows from the top
  2. I have on a blue and white stl cap with a gray home field sweatshirt. I’ll keep an eye out for you
  3. https://twitter.com/studurando/status/1456662654098055171?s=21 Yuri, Nesbitt, Jimerson, TJ, Okoro, Linssen, Thatch, Williams?
  4. Even if we had Perkins, they still have the former number 1 and number 2 recruits from the class of 2022. I hope you're wrong too, but I'm tempering my expectations.
  5. I'm not concerned about KenPom. They are weighting the loss of Goodwin, french, and Perkins heavily while not properly incorporating the gain of Nesbitt or Okoro
  6. The Memphis game better not be close. I don’t need another year where I’m recklessly optimistic.
  7. For my own sake, after we lost Javonte, I’m just trying to look at this season the way I looked at 2019-20. No expectations for wins/losses, I’m just excited to see the talent we have and root for their development as individual players.
  8. Absolutely! Just PM or we can organize a board meet up at a specific time and place. I’m not particularly familiar with the stadium so I wouldn’t know the best spot.
  9. I will be there. Will be my first non-exhibition soccer game at SLU. Never been a big soccer guy but the team is too good not to see in person.
  10. I thought his two attempts at posterizing defenders from a mile away from the basket were pretty enjoyable too
  11. You guys continue to kill it with the content. I think I can speak for all of us in saying that we appreciate the time and effort you put into the podcast.
  12. I was surprised when I saw his stats after the game. He looked awkward, mishandling the ball on a couple of occasions, one where he would’ve had an open shot if he would’ve caught the ball. But like Roy said, he can shoot it
  13. Wouldn’t say he’s regressed, he converted some good plays. Had some really good cuts to the basket for easy lay ups and a couple of pull-up jumpers. There were just other guys that were performing better this particular game.
  14. Traore had 3 fouls in 6 minutes himself. And I didn’t realize it, but Okoro actually fouled out in 12 minutes of play.
  15. A few takeaways that for those not able to be there: 1. The close score through a lot of the game isn’t as big of a concern as it may seem. Most of the runs that Lindenwood had occurred when we didn’t have our best guys on the floor. 2. This is Yuris team. He’s much more confident scoring the ball and can easily take over the game. 3. Nesbitt is raw, but really talented. Give him some time to get acclimated to the college game and he can be an A-10 first teamer imo. Had a much better offensive showing than he did in the first exhibition. 4. I’m concerned about our depth at PG. I know Nesbitt can take over those duties when needed but we don’t have a real back-up PG. DeAndre Jones did not look good at all. 5. Our depth at the five might get hairy at the end of games. We all know how foul-prone Linssen is but Okoro seems to have some of the same qualities.
  16. I will say that Nesbitt has looked good too. Out of control at times but he’s always running at 100%. Otherwise I agree, especially when it comes to 3pt defense
  17. Yuri, Jimerson, Nesbitt, Hargrove, Linssen
  18. Starting 5 has been on the floor (with the exception of Linssen) for the first 6 minutes of the half and SLU now leads 56-39.
  19. 39-35 SLU at the half. Looks like Ford is about to lose it.
  20. Great block by TJ. This team is definitely athletic to say the least
  21. Yuri’s shot looks really good. He’s taken some difficult jumpers and knocked them down. Seems he might be a real candidate for break out scorer.
  22. https://youtu.be/rhZFkFBSHPI Our favorite YouTuber seems to not be doing so well
  23. I hope you’re right, but practice and an exhibition against a D-II team are very different from games against actual D-I competition. I agree that all three guys have the potential to break out this season but I’m tempering my expectations until they actually do so.
  24. I’m not worried about the defense. Like Roy said, Javonte was never a plus defender at the 4. I’m more concerned that we no longer have that “go-to” guy on the offensive end. We don’t have that player you can just give the ball to when you need a bucket late in the game. Just think about his performance against LSU; he was going bucket-for-bucket with Cam Thomas, an NBA draft pick. Nesbitt definitely has the tools to become that guy, but that’s not guaranteed. Gibson has the shooting, but he doesn’t have the finishing and seems to lack the ability to create off the dribble. TJ is a possibility with his improved offensive game but he still needs to take a leap. Yuri has to prove that he can make outside shots regularly. Williams is still unproven. Obviously the team will be okay and will find a way, but there’s still a lot of question marks offensively
