How are we so certain that we are so far behind in the NIL game? Not like May and Ford were very successful before it. “ we lost recruit X because of our lack of NIL!” Ok, well, we also lost 6’10” players Y, and Z because captain huff-n-puff couldn’t keep them on the roster pre NIL.

With such a height challenged team, I don’t know how our 2pt% will improve once we start playing teams with more skilled bigs. We might not even get a shot off inside the arch against Dayton. Fun times…

What happened to medley and Thames in the last 10 minutes? How does Ford forget to sub players, play fast, and run an offense in every second half of close games? He’s probably disappointed he couldn’t get his trite huff-n-puff technical at the end of the game

Jimerson cannot create his own shots. Never has. He turns it over more often than not trying to do so. I’m a huge fan, but he’s just not that guy. this team is tough to watch. It’s on the coaching staff and program.

I’m of the same thought process. It’s out of control and needs to be pulled way back. Even if that meant the talent in college basketball isn’t as good because the top kids go g-league or wherever else for pay checks. I don’t blame any one side in particular for playing the game now. Kids want and can get paid. So do coaches. ADs want to win. So do donors and alumni. Agents and shoe companies want and can get their cuts as well. The one big hypocrisy being the NCAA complaining that the very system they created and exploited for decades is now utter chaos.

I think if you’re looking at our net/kenpom/A10 opponent wins, etc. this year it’s an exercise in staving off boredom. The losses are gonna start piling up.

You guys don’t have to conjure up Ford mishaps from years ago to get infuriatingly depressed. You can just watch the tv now.

This team is just flat out bad.

What did you all expect? We were not going undefeated this year, our team is mediocre at best. We are going to lose a bunch of games. If sincere is out for a long time or potentially the rest of the season (just speculation), it could go south in a hurry. As for Ford, same sh*t different day, season, players, etc…. It’s a long season, but this might be the hurt that invokes a change.

Great win! Glad to see we got stronger down the stretch (I’m shocked actually) Looks like SP will miss some time, that sucks. Now, let’s not get our doors absolutely blown off in the second game of the invitational like we did by Maryland last year…

For real! He was calm most of the game until it started going south and started his wondering around and puffing his chest routine. All the players can sense that.

Can’t wait to see him out there, but I’m cautiously pessimistic about his abilities.

Due to the current transient nature of college sports right now, I don’t know how it would be a good idea for a kid to red shirt anymore. Maybe unless it’s their dream school or playing for their dream coach (that is well established and himself isn’t a flight risk).

Couple of close ones in there though, on cupcake Monday..

Cramps should be something that this staff is acutely apt at addressing.
