There are many things I do not like about CTF’s sideline demeanor. His players (past and present) don’t complain and generally like playing for him so I chalk that up to “tough love”. All of the other things I dislike about his in-game antics, I would happily look the other way if we were winning more. But we aren’t winning enough so it all pi$$es me off.

Who knows what the future holds. At least I don’t. I lack the whole being rich and/or powerful thing. Of course we are not guaranteed anything moving on from Ford. Look at OkSt.. they appear to be as bad as they’ve ever been since Ford was booted. I don’t know who can get us what we are looking for. I do know that 2/3 empty fetz, no ncaa tourney appearances, and no wins against the top 25 isn’t it. I don’t care if your contract is 2.5 mil or 2.5k, results are results (or lack there of).

Just got done watching on replay. Awful 2nd half. I literally said out loud that ford should probably be in the locker room focusing on guarding the 3 instead of arguing with the refs because I doubt they miss all those wide open 3s in the 2nd half… did we scout this team? Because their strength was guard depth and on the ball defense and that’s exactly what crushed us. also, our defense is so bad. They look lost half the time. I just don’t get it. Hallelujah! Holy sh#*! Where’s the Tylenol!?

The weave is good for alleviating pressure and creating opportunities on an extended defense. The way we run it (not well), it works a couple of times with teams/coaches we don’t play very often. After that, it’s kinda waste of time/energy. I guess it beats having dudes stand in the corners though. i watch a lot of college basketball. I’ve never seen a team run it as much as CTF teams do.

I think the football bowl issue has been exacerbated by the watering down of “postseason “ play. Does anyone really care to watch 6-6 Auburn play in the kaopectate bowl?

I agree. Pretty much the same post game spiel he’s been giving for the last 7 years when they win. This one just had some extra pepper on it because he’s feeling the heat.

Normally I’d say something positive like “well, at least our bench will get some valuable playing time”. But these guys are so bad, it’s not going to be competitive.

I think a billboard, car window signage, and fireford face tattoo should send a message.
