I sorta have a problem testing anyone for covid without displaying symptoms. Does anyone know the protocol for the players? If I had no symptoms, I'd like to have three consecutive tests administered to rule out false positives. The players should also have a right to know the Ct value of their test. These tests start to really suck when the Ct is >30 and the patient is asymptomatic. Sure, you'll find some cases that defy this rule, but it is rare. You will find many of these labs test in the 30-40 range...google it, this is documented. Yet, we continue to use all positive cases to drive policy.

Players (and frankly the public) should not be getting a test or quarantining unless there are symptoms. A positive test doesnt mean you are covid19 contagious. A positive test without symptoms is highly suspect of being false. So disappointing but we all knew this would eventually happen the way we are trying to test our way out of the pandemic.

Exactly my thoughts. I predict UM wont be last in big10, and I bet they get 1 or 2 top25 wins in their upcoming schedule at home. SLU will be just fine. We just lost out on top25 next week. Oh well, we'll keep getting votes and slowly creep back up.
