I don’t post much but the video of Scooter Barry is outstanding. Both French and Goodwin have a 2 stage free throw and need this tape and device. How about a Go Fund Me to purchase it for SLU?

Back to topic of redshirting. We know the rule for transferring now but who knows If it will become more restrictive in in 3 years.

Don’t know if this has been answered but Coach Tate fell down some steps and tore a muscle in lower extremity (quad?) requiring surgery and full leg cast. Also, the fact that Diarra and Hargrove didn’t play in a 20 point win makes me wonder if they are being redshirted.

At a dinner last night Ford said Bell would play first 5-6 minutes at the 5 so French would not get early fouls covering other team’s big. French would then move to the 5.

Each ACL injury is unique. They are often associated with MCL tear (usually heals with rest), meniscal tear, usually medial, which can be bad depending on extent, bone contusions of femur and tibia with possible impaction, rarely with PCL tear (bad injury). Grafts are from middle third of patellar tendon, othe tendons or ligaments, or cadaver. I don’t think surgeons attempt a primary repair of ACL. Results can vary and rehab time depends on extent of injury. Finally, not all surgeons are equal.

Refs are from the ACC according to TV analysts yesterday. Probably why game was fairly well refereed. -
Shin splints are stress microfractures that can extend if not rested. They are definitely observable on MRI exams
