Maybe Tilmon and Pickett want to go together. Seems odd Tilmon hasn't picked a program yet.

I apologize but I thought people were talking earlier about how Ford red shirts players for later. I forgot who mentioned it. My only thought was we realistically have 8-9 players to get solid minutes. Pickett is really good but he has Goodwin, and older guards like Bess, Adonys, Roby, graves and bishop competing for PT. So he would be the 7th guard in the rotation.

My thoughts are if it is Hughes, he red shirts because of the transfer, if it is Pickett, he redshirts. Freshmen like Goodwin and French are in a position to be immediate impact players due to size and having the highest skill level. Pickett is going to be a freshmen on a stacked team much different position than when players like Johnson and Welmer freshmen. They had to play big minutes even when they weren't ready yet due to roster limitations, next year that will not be an issue.

VCU seems to be reloading with grad transfers for next year after losing 2 top 100 recruits. Solid strategy this late in the game I think. A good VCU will only help the A10 and SLU next year. Duquesne surprisingly looks to have a very different roster next year as well with five new players committed.

You guys recently said you were mad at glory for moving the discussion away from the topic, but for the past few hours all that has been talked about is Mizzou. Can we please just start a mizzou talk thread and move anything mizzou over there? These next few weeks will be big for 2017 recruiting and checking this forum for updates only to see nothing recruiting related is frustrating. So isn't there a recruit on campus today?

Don't know to confirm, but it is interesting to say the least that there hasn't been more information on Tilmons recruiting.

Does anyone follow Roy. I think he tweeted about Pickett but it's protected.

Missouri with Porter is in the same position LSU was with Simmons. Too much coverage mixed with the top recruit and a tough SEC conference leads to a very disappointed fanbase. LSU couldn't reload after Simmons and sunk their team. Missouri will have to battle Kentucky, Florida, Texas AM, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. SLU will have much higher odds of a higher win season. The biggest difference is if Mizzou can reload recruits after their star is gone.

It was talked about earlier that players seeing newcomers coming in and wanting to rethink their spot on the team. Roby is back next year, but the talk about the addition of the new point guard from Missouri could raise some questions on our guard situation

Cool part from the A10 article on SLU's recruits French probably had more dunks in one high school game than Crawford did all season. Goodwin is a pure winner and no one seems more determined to bring glory back to their hometown school than him. Much like the first new Billiken mascot that was replaced, I’m not sure exactly what SLU is next season, but it’s definitely frightening. And Taking into account transfers Adonys Henriquez, DJ Foreman, Javon Bess and Ty Graves as well, and the Billikens are going to be a completely different team, and with the A-10 going into a down year, it’s entirely possible that the Billikens could be challenging for a NCAA Tournament bid if things go right
