The serious answer is that in reality, Mizzou is a 7/8 seed right now, and Jerry Palm is not good at his job. He puts matchups like this to get clicks. If you compare his accuracy with other bracketologists on bracket matrix, he’s in the bottom 20%.

What this shows me is if the second half of the season doesn’t go well, if we fire Ford and make the correct hire, it might not take too long to rebuild.
Ford could be SLU’s Cuanzo Martin. A solid coach that took a team from the bottom to a respectable floor, but not able to break through. If we can get our Gates and use the foundation Ford built we could be really good soon with the right hire.

Our trio of quality wins against Memphis, Providence, and Drake along with no bad losses is nice. Really wish we could’ve won either the Auburn or Boise State games…

I’m not sure what Ford is supposed to do when our bigs can’t catch passes and we can’t make wide open shots

Boise State beat Texas A&M on the road by 15 and Colorado on a neutral court. They are a good team with an elite defense. If we do win it will be a solid win

Feels like we are the last hope for the A10 to be a 2 bid league, and even then it’s shaky. Probably have to win out in non conference and then place top 2 in conference play. 24/25-7/6 might be enough for an 11/12 seed. No margin for error though and need help from teams like Memphis to have good years.

Providence, Iona, Drake, and Boise St will be top 75 teams (1-0 three left)

Thats just noncon. Win at least 3 of the remaining top 100 NC games and we are on the right side of the bubble.

We do not need to win the A10 tourney guys stop overreacting. Close loss to a top 15 team on the road is not awful.
We’re 3-2 in top 100 games with 4 more non on opportunities plus conference play. We are fine.

That was a really encouraging 4 minutes without Yuri. Shows we can hold our own without him against really good teams. Getting that experience now will help us in the future
