Arkansas has shown heavy interest but have not offered McKinney. He lists the school as one of his favs because of style of play. I think SLU should be all in on Liddell. I don't believe Gordon plans on being a 4 year player.

His mother remains loyal to the team he grew up playing on but i think things might change next summer.

I didn't see Goodwin play his Senior year. Did he play pg? With the Eagles he played off ball with McKissic playing pg and guarding the other teams best guard. Ford just said on 101.1 ESPN that Goodwin has lost 25lbs since June. That will definitely help in his transition. Looking forward to it.

Verge had some issues outside of basketball. Hope everything works out for him. I saw Sloan on the AAU circuit last summer. He looked like he had put on weight and was slower than he was when he played with the Eagles. Maybe this year of JUCO will get them back on the right track.

Pretty much agree. I know Goodwin wanted to stay close to home but he didn't turn down the other higher profile Universities for an opportunity to compete for a starting position at SLU. This is a very interesting roster. Many players who can play multiple positions. I wonder if the coaches are selling the point to players such as French and Goodwin..."come be a part of something great, we will play 8-10 players" or "come help us be great...we are building around you". Because, let's say French doesn't start this year and SLU has a successful season...do you insert him AND Gordon into the starting lineup in 2018? Good problem to have but i am curious the thinking behind building the roster for the future. Should make for a great season. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

I saw a guy that looked like French but he had braids. JJ, Santos, Goodwin, Roby, Henriquez were there so i assumed it was French. I might have been mistaken.

Does French have braids now? I might have been mistaken. I saw a bunch of the SLU kids and assumed it was him based off what i have heard in the forums and this pic. I haven't seen any practice vids.

I saw them at Cardinal Ritter playing in a Summer league this past Sunday.

Saw Henriquez, Santos, Goodwin, French and JJ play yesterday. Henriquez can really shoot it. I was impressed with French's aggressiveness. He is relentless attacking the basket. Goodwin looked a little rusty. But i am not worried about him...i know what he can do. Nice building blocks ?

Yeah. I heard 3 SLU guys showed up at a basketball event at Cardinal Ritter this past Sunday. One was in a boot. Didn't hear who tho.

He is very nice. Have had the opportunity to watch him the last two years in high school. McKinney and Collins have crossed paths the last two years in the playoffs. Yuri has almost pulled off the upset both years with his slick passing and leadership.

I wonder what the coaching staff's thoughts are on him

Got to watch a few games Sunday at the camp. Very impressive talent on display. Liddell was done playing when i got there but Mario Mckinney played well.

Obviously you should know perception is not reality. Now when they mention Yuri being offered by Mizzou...is that trolling or are they sharing information about a rival recruiting school? Somehow you took offense to my statement because of the way it came off to you. Your perception of me is based off how you interpret my words on your screen lol. This is not high school...grow up. I am not here to gain approval from the "cool kids". As i have stated numerous times before...i actually know these boys. John could possibly be playing high school ball in STL this coming year. That is why he was introduced to Ford and Martin. That is why i mentioned it. Two rival schools in regards to recruiting. Lol not a Mizzou insider. The kid has local ties. Met him a few months ago. Nice kid...very skilled on the court...humble off of it. Under the radar right now. I was just passing on information as it pertains to the local programs. Coach Ford has met John and talked to him already.
