  1. I wold suggest everyone temper their expectations for next year, They will be very young still, mostly sophomores and freshmen. Harbison was the point guard but McMahan ran that team and Frantz was just crazy hot the last half of the season. McMahan must have lead the nation in charges taken if that stat was kept. Those 2 seniors carried this team the last half of the season. The youngsters are talented but i think they are going to need another year of seasoning.
  2. I think Stone is just trying to build some chemistry with a very young team, McMahan would have played a bit more had she not cramped up in the fourth. The freshmen certainly appear to be talented, but as you would expect a bit erratic at times. Frantz and especially McMahan really keep things steady.
  3. I thought the ladies had an impressive exhibition win. The freshmen looked legit, and the rest of team was very solid. I am looking forward to seeing how they do as the competition improves.
  4. Anyone surprised that the women were picked 7th in the A10 preseason polls. considering what they lost from last year that seemed high to me.
  5. Does anyone have any thoughts as to how well the womens team will do this year.
  6. Congrats to the lady Billikens for being selected to play in the womens NIT!
  7. I would not discount McMahan playing the point next year, she was the starting pg for as a freshman at Akron for a team that won 22 games and she was clearly the best defender on the team this year, however for a team that was 13th in the league in points allowed that may not be saying much. Stone needs to address the defense with the freshmen coming in, you cannot rely on always scoring 80 plus point a game.
  8. I think Maddy Gits is going to step up and have a big year. A lot of seniors this year I wonder who else will rise up>
  9. Looks like Coach Stone really upgraded the schedule. Anyone have any thoughts on how they will do?
  10. I noticed Jackie has played 40 minutes twice in the last 3 games, she needs a break or she could wear down. Its a long season.
  11. Any report on how the girls did Friday and how did the new players perform?
  12. Looks like McMahan is an accomplished athlete as well.
