  1. The IU Indy Star beat writer had Conwell listed this morning on the "good fit" list, along with several other shooting guards. The dead period ends tomorrow, so visits will resume. Conwell is from Pike HS in Indy, will/has transferred after each of his two seasons, so look for him to set up multiple visits. Will he stop by SLU? I'd guess that he would.

  3. Schertz threw a high change up first pitch at the Cards game. No it didn’t bounce.
  4. Well stated. This deserves more than a Good Post reaction.
  5. His skill set and the way he was being used (when he was healthy enough to play) didn't fit at Butler. He does need to transfer down in my opinion.
  6. Interested you mentioned Turnbull. I watched him, when he was healthy. He would be eligible for a Medical Redshirt Waiver due to his injury this past season. So that would/could give him three more seasons. Pretty good 3 point shooter - 45% in a small sample - can defend the rim, but not a very good post defender (in the Big East).
  7. Conwell is already a 2X transfer, so it isn't surprising he is looking around and see what is out there $$ wise.
  8. Comments on Jimerson and Parker https://www.stltoday.com/sports/college/slu/josh-schertzs-first-slu-roster-could-it-include-jimerson-or-indiana-state-players/article_186435bc-f5d3-11ee-b2d9-ef6a032da620.html
  9. It makes sense to me that Schertz will wait for his third assistant to see if Graves gets the ISU job.
  10. If Jaden was not on scholarship he likely can move freely.
  11. Zak Boisvert joined the GW men's basketball staff as an assistant coach in May 2022. In his first year in Foggy Bottom, Boisvert was responsible for opponent's scouting. He helped lead the Buff & Blue to their most overall wins (16), most A-10 conference wins (10) and first winning league record since 2016-17. Boisvert comes to D.C. with 11 years of coaching experience, most recently at Indiana State. A former student manager at Fordham, Boisvert has also spent time at Army West Point, Maine, Fairleigh Dickinson and Iona. Boisvert has made his name primarily on the offensive end of the floor and in the development of point guards. During his five seasons at Army, Boisvert was key in developing Tommy Funk, one of the program's all-time great point guards. Funk averaged 17.5 ppg as a senior, earning First Team All-League honors while also shattering the Patriot League record with 728 career assists. The 2019-20 Black Knights, under Boisvert's guidance, ranked 12th in the country in assists per game and two-point percentage, while leading the Patriot League in field goal percentage. Originally from Portland, Maine, Boisvert spent two years at the University of Maine. He assisted the Black Bears to a five-win improvement from his first year to his second with freshmen and sophomores accounting for nearly 70% of the team's offense in 2015-16. He was also tabbed as Maine's offensive coordinator, increasing the team's points per game from 60.4 ppg to 76.6, the largest scoring jump in Division I from 2014-15 to 2015-16.
  12. He only played 6 minutes last season, so I would guess Walk On.
  13. https://590thefan.com/radio-shows/press-box/ Segments 3 and 4, May and then Schertz. Interesting final comment on using the portal.
  14. Go find another management template that justifies your negative agenda, once you tweak the data and massage the questions. I still chuckle about that. It reminds me of consulting for the Army Corps of Engineers that I did. They supplied me with the results they want and then asked me to write the report to support their desired result. I did it once and they said no thanks on further contracts.
  15. YES. Not sure if he is an official portal entry, or a coming with my Dad player. Jersey #5 awaits.
  16. An absolute home run press conference. Those dwelling on negative issues, take your L and sit this one out. Let us Billiken fan's rejoice. I believe Jimerson was in attendance today. Frank and Bob had Chris May on the radio immediately after the press conference. It will be posted on The Press Box website soon. Look it up. Schertz is throwing out the first pitch tomorrow at the Cards game. He apparently will spend a few minutes on the mound this afternoon to make sure, hopefully, he doesn't bounce it tomorrow.
  17. You the one making the statement. Go away and make stuff up. No one will know the difference, since you were in the room where it happened, the room where it happened…..and no one else was.
  18. So you were in the room where it happened, the room where it happened.
  19. May on KMOX this morning. Woman's title was announced at the Zac Brown concert. Geno Auriemma made the initial recommendation to May for Coach Tillett. Schertz was on top of the very short list of coaching candidates. The committee talked to a lot of various people during the process, community leaders, local press, other coaches, national press, etc. Schertz is meeting with May this afternoon with the Press Conference tomorrow. He will tour the O'Loughlin Champion Center and Chaifetz today. What attracted him to SLU? Ask Coach that tomorrow. Any players from ISU coming? Who knows.
  20. Possibility any become Billikens?
