  1. That was pretty funny ...Yes, JALEN Johnson
  2. With Justin Johnson leaving, all the more reason we need Welmer back healthy. He’s a good perimeter shooter who can also go to the rim.
  3. As of last week Dingle owns the highest 3-pt shooting percentage in all of EYBL, 48.8 percent
  4. Great play & a great call on that by Rammer and Earl, too
  5. Did J-GOOD happen to be accompanied by a JUCO sharpshooter or promising grad transfer?
  6. One could say that about most teams — they play up or down to their level of competition.
  7. Lots of rebs, lots of steals, lots of blocks—fun times next season!
  8. We’ll see....the latest on a repeat honor for Pearson, who improved his senior year even with a new surrounding cast: http://www.thenewsenterprise.com/sports/boys-prep-basketball-pearson-accomplishes-goals-getting-team-to-state/article_d143acee-5664-52b4-8939-9554755a1b35.html
  9. I get tired of the local “media personalities” being viewed as the “experts.” It’s lazy reporting or no reporting at all...
  10. Porter Moser must still read Billikens.com
  11. Sounds like Arizona may be Coleman’s last visit, then a decision soon afterward: https://www.google.com/amp/tucson.com/sports/arizonawildcats/basketball/pascoe/arizona-basketball-justin-coleman-brandon-williams-near-decisions/article_979d1024-4800-11e8-b927-c75705392031.amp.html
  12. Will he have the physicality and quickness to succeed freshman year? Just about every freshman faces the same questions in stepping up to the college level. I agree all other aspects look great. His rebounding, scoring and shooting percentages improved year after year. Good sign to go with that huge wingspan.
  13. What do you think, reasonable, competitive? http://www.richmond.com/sports/college/numbers-game-check-out-di-men-s-basketball-budgets-around/article_d5934091-cf4e-5cce-acbe-ef8d373db4ad.html
  14. Fred Thatch shot 41 percent from three this season. Here are his other per game averages: 21.1 points 9.8 rebounds 4.7 assists 2.4 steals 80 percent from th FT line
  15. The backcourt is so young, a grad transfer would add leadership, stability, depth...odds seem good based on tweets and the SEC grad transfer report from @TheOne
  16. The more I see of Jacobs, the more I like... https://arizonastate.rivals.com/news/hillcrest-prep-guard-talks-asu-offer He’s candid in this piece about his strengths and weaknesses ... this is from June 2017, before summer AAU and prep school. Watch the video from Uplift High in Chicago and look at the lower left corner of the screen, which IDs the player being highlighted. Two observations: 1. Someone on this board talked about Jacobs’ body control...multiple instances here, the best of which is off the steal in the middle of the tape. He may be raw but the guy knows how to finish and gives SLU added dimension in transition offense. 2. Love his double block on D...going to be a Block Party with Jacobs and French on the floor together.
  17. Aid if he’s anything like the last recruit Illinois offered the same time SLU did, it’s a good sign
