  1. Well considering that the team had a full 3 hour practice before doing the Bash, I would not make any predictions on the players or team development. I am certain you were watching a bunch of tired guys trying to please the crowd. We will be able to get a better assessment of how this team has grown after the first couple of games. Just a piece of tidbit no one mentioned on here...
  2. There is major talent in the juco ranks and I believe Hines will be a contributor this season. He may just be the thing to solidify the guard position.

  4. I think all doubters will be pleasantly surprised. Expecting a good season! Go Bills.
  5. I am still of the belief we will surprise the A10 in the end. For now the lack of respect is okay to get this team to do much better than last year's group. They have the tools but can they play as a cohesive unit like past successful teams did? This is where JC and staff will be judged for sure.
  6. Summer pick up basketball....wow!? Nice. I think our kids are gonna be more challenged trying to figure out what activities to do at Atlantis.
  7. Whatever...I am only supporting the kids wearing Billiken Blue and White. Good luck to JT and his family. Good choice with Duke!
  8. Been watching this play out and I do not want to say I told you this would never happen for SLU but just as I stated it would. I got lambasted for stating it would not. The good thing about this announcement is that the Tatums saw fit to make the announcement early to eliminate the local pressure for this kid to sign with SLU. At least the staff and supporters of SLU can now move on and focus on our team. Wish the kid well and lets move on people. The ship has sailed...!
  9. The boxers still have not found how to beat Mayweather toe to toe so I have to say he is the best at his craft. Thought Manny would at least make it a good fight but he was easy to hit and frustrated out of taking chances. No losers in this fight. The payout for these two is unprecedented.
  10. I question the loyalty of the guys running the review room!$&$&$&$. Great game to say the least. The tournament was very exciting to watch his year.
  11. One thing we can all agree on is that we underperformed this season but I am confident the guys will be much better next season. Off season will be a time for reflection and a whole lot of work. My only advice to the guys are do not depend on the staff to get you better. Do that on your own...train with those who can make you better. At this time till official practices begin in the Fall it is up to the players to take their games to the next level. Work hard work smarter!
  12. Brianstl, I do not know much about accolades of our other bigs but I will give you RAs since I started following him before his arrival at SLU. 2012 New York State POY finalist 2012 New York State Gatorade POY finalist 2012 New York State 2nd team All-State 2012 Western NY Player of the Year 2012 Western NY Catholic League POY 2012 ESPN 24th ranked player in NY state 2013 #6 ranked player in Connecticut 2013 #22 ranked player in all New England 2013 2nd-Team all_NEPSAC(New England prep league which is #1 prep in the US) Solid resume for a incoming freshman IMHO!
  13. Kids leaving to go find success elsewhere means this staff has alot of work to do. The fact that TL regressed only strengthens the argument against this staff. AM was not a good fit and he recognized it early instead of wasting his last year. Best of luck to both kids. May you find success wherever you land.
  14. MC, MB, DR, AY, RA, and AG must have a big off season of development for this team to make huge strides. I am not going to say a thing about AM, TL, MY, or MR until I see evidence they are staying. With GG and JM graduating the door opens to get some seasoned players. So far not impressed with what is coming in. Recruiting is looking real soft with these multi-year project kids.
  15. Well lets see what drama unfolds in the next 30 days with the staff and players. Gonna be interesting.
  16. Teams always play better in playoffs. Do or die here...MY is dying before my eyes.
  17. Beating anyone will be a miracle! Waiting to see how we fare on Wednesday night.
  18. Unfortunately what we need comes with price. It cannot be gotten under these conditions. Something has to give...
  19. I think all these kids respected Crew and his resume speaks for itself. I just think his plan for this year was not concise and he made big decisions as the team evolved. A mistake he probably regrets now. I also think that with no true measure of where the team is I think it tells a worse story of this season.
  20. Guess there is no convincing you since you know these players so well and can certainly know what they can and cannot do. My point was not to say that coaching staff should work with these individual trainers during the season but in the off season for sure to get each player where they need to be in the shortest time possible. With enough reps you can make a so so player into a good one in the course of the offseason.
