This Google Doc has a good snapshot of what is happening in the A10 and every other league.  Williford is still listed on the SLU roster, but as we think, he likely won't be here.  St. Bonnie and VCU have significant holes to fill.

that is nutty stuff. Pistol x infinity. guessing it stay current?

I also have no problem giving them more time but don’t forget they are all going to summer school getting 6 to 9 credit hours. That’s why some of these guys are getting degrees in 3 years.

see it sucks they have to give up their summers, most coeds still have the summer off I think :) really the takeaway for me with ur reply is that they are still getting the education, so that's good.

Calipari brought up a good point at his Arkansas press conference - “why are there 26 year olds playing college basketball?”

Of course the quick answer was COVID years, but he brought up the NCAA’s willingness to hand out extra eligibility years without much pushback.  And most importantly, a 23-26 year old would much rather stick around college playing basketball than having a post-grad job making less.

The extra years awarded has taken away opportunities from high school players.  I think the NCAA needs to just make a blanket ruling awarding all athletes 5 years and do away with the redshirt rules.  Schools can be held on the hook to honor scholarships for 4 years, although that won’t be much of an issue anymore with the portal.

I have np giving student athletes more time to graduate. No way average 18 year old can handle all that travel, practice etc. & then have time to excel in school.

Best part about this line is that it wasn’t at all under fluky last week of the season circumstances that @thetorch described.  The Lakers are desperately trying to better position themselves for the play-in tournament.  LeBron and AD each played over 40 minutes and it was all their normal rotation guys playing.  Goodwin is shorter than all but 2 of the 9 guys that played for the Lakers and he grabbed 17 rebounds.

A good NBA team doesn’t want Goodwin shooting the ball 23 times in a game ever, but if he’s gobbling up rebounds like Rodman and playing great defense I don’t see why he can’t latch on somewhere.

indeed Rodman best example of what JG has always shown, thank god - the baggage. Seems like some team would seek him out next season.

No one ever coached stopped for a bit then coached again. Never ever happened.

Man I wonder if someone connected to UK reached out to agents of coaches that have been to the final 4? Is one or two prominent boosters  involved?

Please give us some of your horoscope like "scoop" from all your middle school girls soccer connections.

did not the late great Rick Majerus stop for a bit then coached again?
