It wasn't luck man. He out coached Mark Gottfried plain and simple. Look at the team stats, they are better than us in almost every statistical category... Except free throw percentage. Just think about that, worse than us! We could not stop them, they were too big, and they had a future NBA player on the team. He identified their weakness and executed a game plan that exploited that weakness. All those close games we played were a teaching experience for that game. He also extended the part of the game that we had excelled at all season. The end of the game. He figured out how to get the most out of those kids. I was impressed.

Yeah dude you are exactly right. We don't force our brand of basketball upon the opponent anymore. I kinda like Crews, I listened to that 30 minute interview of his life story and I just think he's a cool dude that has everything in perspective. I think we are seeing the result of Majerus' kids trying to play Crews' brand of basketball. To win with Crews brand you have to have a tall team that can make a jump shot. Look for the future Billiken rosters to be much bigger.
