  1. Vote! He deserves it & it would be great publicity for SLU. http://www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/mens_basketball/?DB_OEM_ID=27200
  2. Nice, but I'd rather see the money go to some of the other SLU athletes that bust their butts all year for little to no scholarship money.
  3. I know you asked about restaurants, so this is not on point, but if you have a half hour or so of free time, I would recommend going to the Basilica. It's only a few block from campus and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I go there every time I'm in St. Louis, and I see something new each time. It's very, very impressive, whether you're religious or not. http://cathedralstl.org/
  4. Looks great. Baseball must have scored another big donation. Wonder if softball will ever be able to use the cages?
  5. Will be good to see Christian play again. Thankfully, Fox Pacific is carrying tomorrow night's game in my area. I had zero luck getting any audio or video for the last game.
  6. I've got the online stats but that's it. Anyone getting any video or ESPN?
  7. Congrats to both! They are a great couple! Good students, devout Catholics, good people! Great SLU representatives. (And she's got the best name for a BB player!! )
  8. Did that. But when your kid is in it, it's nice to have a hard copy.
  9. Nice publication. Anyone know if this will be in printed format as well? Seems like I've received these in the mail in the past. http://issuu.com/slubillikens/docs/bar2013_p1
  10. Nice of the sports department to remember her http://www.slubillikens.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=27200&ATCLID=209046160
  11. Found a pic on Twitter. Nice! (wonder where all this $$$ is coming from..... basketball??) http://t.co/AfW17cMjBh
  12. If anyone happens to walk by there, I'd love to see a pic. The kid graduated & I don't know if/when I'll ever get back to SLU to see it. Thanks!
  13. Any new scoreboard sightings at the baseball and/or softball fields?
  14. Congrats to him & his team. Hope he can find a home in the NBA in the near future.
  15. This was just posted on his blog. Would be nice for students, if it happens.... http://stlnabedev.tumblr.com/post/54518943408/new-student-housing-coming-near-st-louis-university
  16. Oh, what sad news. So very sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to his family. And to his "big brothers" on the team..... RIP
  17. Congrats to the Bills on a great season & making it to the NCAA regionals. While the Bills were very competitive in A10 play, I think they may now realize that there is a "whole 'nother level" of baseball out there. It's tough for the mid-majors (especially the private schools) to compete with the big state schools, especially the non-revenue sports where recruiting becomes more difficult. Good luck to the graduating seniors - you had great careers at SLU & you set new highs for SLU baseball. And the returning players will only get better & better - there are many more A10 championships & NCAA appearances in your futures.
  18. Congrats to the team! They did it the hard way! Upside though is that with more games, the stats got better! The records couldn't have been set if they'd played only 3 games. So it's a win-win!! Good luck in Omaha!!!!
  19. This was a very special season - in so many ways. Good work, men. You made us very proud. SLU got lots of great publicity this year and you got a lot of new fans for SLU basketball. It would have been "sweet" to go a little further at the Big Dance, but it was still a great year. Congratulations! Thank you!
  20. Biondi doesn't give a crap about SLU sports. He likes the money they generate, but that's about it. And the non-revenue sports? He'd prefer they'd just disappear. And Title IX must be a big thorn in his side.
  21. Interesting to see the BB locker room & training area. Sure makes the other sports' locker rooms look like crap!
