GOO BILLIKENS! In the student section tonight, a lot of students didn't make it until after halftime-it's greek week at slu. (I agree, no excuse) But once a good amount more showed up... wowww was it loud. Seriously the noise rivaled the UD game.

Cool quick story-just walked down to the Chafe to get my ticket (I work for SLU) and ran into KM, JJ, CE, and WR on the way back up to the office. Told them I got my ticket and to play hard tonight. I seriously love these guys... While we might not have the most talent, by God we play with a helluva lot of heart. Pumped for tonight's game.

hmm.... <calls back and yells and screams and gets tickets for free> ...just kidding Did you have to go through some menus when you called? I had to press "1" a couple times for single game tickets.

That's what I'm gonna do, I was just surprised at the service fee over the phone for tonight's game. They didn't have that earlier this year, so I'm just curious as to why that changed. weird.

I just called to buy a ticket, and for some reason today they're charging a $4 service fee. FOR A $10 TICKET! A 40% service fee? They have not charged that over the phone for SLU games earlier this year... Just a heads up to you guys. I'm pumped up for this game. We should demolish Indiana St. tonight. I'm thinking a fordham-like game with alley oops galore and Willie, Remekin, and Smith throwing down. GO BILLS!

I've been told the first 150 students who show up get in free... The chafe needs to be rocking tomorrow, especially with the students. "It's only the cbi" is no excuse... This is still your team, the same one that provided you with so many thrilling games this season. (steps off soapbox)

The average ACT score of students coming into slu is a 27 Average gpa coming out of high school is a 3.67. Admission requirements might be relatively the same, but let's be honest. Mizzou is a party school. SLU is a school of academics.

I wouldn't go down that road if I were you... This is not the place, and frankly, SLU doesn't need to brag about the quality of the student we attract.

Frankly, it takes time to build a decent basketball program. SLU has made a few big moves lately, like picking up majerus and building Chaifetz Arena on campus. With the large student body at Mizzou, of course you're going to see more students at games and attract better recruits. Why? Because it's a bigger name. I love my billikens, and I would love even more to see Mizzou's kittens play us.

Mizzou plays in St. Louis? Weird. Shut up and go on your own message board. I would LOVE to see SLU play mizzou every year. Frankly, I'm sure Mizzou is scared to get embarrassed by our billikens.

Just discovered this message board today, and I'm so excited I have an outlet for my billikens now. Getting shafted from the NIT was absolute horse excrement. Good news? We still have the youngest, and one of the most talented teams in the a10. We're gonna make some noise for quite some time. It just sucks having to wait even longer now bc the NIT committee is a bunch of idiots. Go slu.
