  1. Put the sleeves back on the jerseys…
  2. Love that - was fortunate enough to see both Soundgarden and Pearl Jam in the 90s, but I would have killed to have seen the Trees. Mother Love Bone and Temple of the Dog would have also been fantastic, but I guess I saw Cornell, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron with their primary bands. We won’t see another era like the grunge alt+rock era of the 90s ever again. Even in the Midwest, acts like Macomb’s Stabbing Westward and Detroit’s Sponge were hugely successful. Loved the band Stir from STL and Brother Cane out of Birmingham.
  3. Damn. I hope you saved that stub. What a show.
  4. Do we keep the Ford Stuen touch like Marquette with Al? What are people’s thoughts about that?
  5. On Ashley Judd’s 56th birthday, Majerus in heaven gives us this gift… amazing. Can’t script that!
  6. Rally in the 9th killed with two on and our 2B sticks his elbow out for what appears to be a HBP- ump calls a third strike. Ballgame. Fordham wins 8-4. An unacceptable Saturday loss. Weber looked lost out there on the mound.
  7. Bottom 3 rough on starter Charlie Weber. Running out of gas. Could be a staff day here in the Bronx. Screams “fuuuucccckkk” into his glove as the third out is made. after 3: Fordham is up 3-2.
  8. You’re also thinking about Miss Cleo…
  9. Road game and we’ve got more folks repping Billiken blue than the home team colors. Alumni tailgate down the third base line.
  10. Top o’the mornin to ya- live from Rose Hill for game 2 of this 3 game set between the Rams and the Bills. Talked to DH before the game - what a great guy. Lots of blue here. Let’s go!
  11. When I was a Phi Kap pledge my freshman year, one fun tidbit of information I had to learn about the senior class was one of them was the 4th all time leading rusher at Vianney. Aside from the guys who played for Tony Severino at Rockhurst, the Vianney football alums really held on to the glory days more than anyone I encountered at SLU.
