Nah, it’s because it takes sled dogs to get to Olean, they wear ugly brown unis, and if you’re not careful the sled dog driver will get drunk, steal the sled, and leave you stranded.

I really want to make the point that the deficiencies we find in our players should be laid upon the poor work done by Ford and the coaching staff. They cannot train these kids properly and therefore the kids cannot perform well during the games. All of these problems can be dealt with with a new coaching staff.
Just as likely is they’re not quick enough to defend properly.

If next year’s roster to start the season looked like the following, do you think it’s a winning roster? For the sake of discussion, let’s say there’s a new coach on the sideline to take Ford out of it. Also assume that everyone is full go to start the season and Magassa is eligible.
So the returnees are Jimerson, Eziwero, Parker, Hughes, Medley, Thames, van Bussel, Zhang, Curcic, Magassa, and add in the high school commit. That leaves two schollies open. Assume we get two 3-star level players from the portal at the one and four who are ready starters.
Would that roster make you optimistic about the season and does it have the potential to get the double-bye or even win the A-10?

That leaves you with current student athletes. Volleyball, soccer and softball players are your likely options. Softball is in season and women's soccer is kicking off spring season. That leaves volleyball. Now you have to find a player who is good enough and willing within that group of 15 women and hopefully their coach is cool with it. Oh and right now they only have 5 healthy players, so you're looking for at least 2.
Davidson’s student enrollment is 1950. Going back to the Lefty Driesell years from ‘60-69, it’s amazing they’ve competed as well as they have, given their lack of facilities and high academic standards.
