    Congrats to the Billikens and their fans. That was a hard fought win in an arena with a decidedly pro-Bona crowd, and Saint Louis earned the win. Well done. Now, go make some noise in the tourney!

    Unfortunately, Stockard, Griffin and Welch missed a combined 25 games early in the season, leading to a 4-10 start. Fortunately, that meant Lofton and Osunniyi and some of the other younger players got thrown into the fire and gained valuable experience. Schmidt has said that Lofton had to become more than just a distributor, because the team needed him to score. The benefits of the additional freshmen playing time are now paying dividends.

    I’m sorry for your embarrassment at being in the A-10 conference. I do, however, understand your concern regarding why being such a large and unbelievably influential, well endowed university like Saint Louis University doesn’t automatically mean you will win against an inferior, less well endowed school like St. Bonaventure University.
