I think this thread is much needed after tonight. I hope our players are taking names and remember some of these games next year. We should beat Davidson by 30 next year. As for our lineup next year... A month ago I had DJ in the starting lineup for next year. He looked disinterested lately. I think I have Carteare in there over him now. JG JB JJ CG HF is my starting lineup. We we are going to have ridiculous forward depth with CG and Santos being added to this group. The concern will again be guard depth. Can JG handle the point full time? Do we pick up another ball handler as a grad transfer? How much can we expect from Thatch and Jacobs in terms of handling the ball? All important questions. Lastly, if Welmer is actually healthy, he’s a welcome addition. He’s the closest thing this team has to an Aldridge-type. Not saying he will ever be close to that good, just style wise. He was very good in some games last year. If he has more injury setbacks this summer, it is definitely time to move on.

Shame we couldn’t play like this all game. Two nights in a row we came out really slow and unprepared. Difference between last night and tonight is that Davidson is actually a good team. GW was not.

Honestly it’s maybe best that this train wreck of a season ends tonight. Get to the summer, get Goodwin and the freshmen on campus, and prepare for a tourney run next year.

I may like Collins more than most. He's been great so far in HS playoff season against legit competition. He was best guard on the floor the other night vs Vashon. If he wants to commit now, I don't see how we could possibly say we need to wait and see. With that said, I trust whatever Travis thinks is best.

I wouldn't want to risk out on waiting too late for him to establish his true "value." That has bit us in the a$$ before, and almost bit us in the a$$ on Goodwin, before Ford swooped in and saved it.

Out of curiosity, would you take Jordan Barnes? Or Mike Lewis? Similar concerns were voiced about those guys.

Yuri Collins is exactly what our program is lacking. I can’t believe some people are saying we shouldn’t take his commitment if he wants to. His size will not be detrimental to his style of play.
