  2. I agree, Roy. Bryce outplayed Ian at several points this season.
  3. Apparently, this guy can shoot free throws too. One game, he went 10/10 from the line, another, he went 6/6. In two other games this season, he hit 8 and 10 free throws. http://www.kjccc.org/basketball/0607/stats...ghplayer_5.html
  4. Barry Eberhardt- Forward. 6'6, 250. 18.4 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 45% 3pt. Reportedly being recruited by SLU, UD, UNLV, Bradley, Wichita State, Central Michigan, and Illinois State. http://hometownlife.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...432/1069/NEWS24
  5. >>i want us to win just as much as the next guy.<< SLU was 20-13 against "the next guy" this season. That means that "the next guy" was 13-20 against SLU, just in case you need help with that one.
  6. True, but you can certainly try to limit them.
  7. Thank God! If you actually keep that thing updated, We'll be able to avoid all the bickering everyone has to wade through on the board these days. Although I have to say, it could do without the "opinion" section. Isn't that what the board is for? Why not use the blog to inform?
  8. The St. Louis Eagles AAU team is going to be playing in a tournament in Milwaukee March 30-April 1. I plan on going to at least one 17u game. I know several contributors are deeply involved in AAU. Is anyone from the board planning on going? Does anyone want to meet up or need any help with directions, restaurants, or lodging in Milwaukee?
  9. I was a freshman in 2001. I knew SLU basketball from their two most recent NCAA tournament appearances and because they played Marquette a lot. I went to Marquette University High School in Milwaukee. I bought student season tickets for the 2001-2002 season as soon as they went on sale in fall. I knew SLU was going to be my alma mater, and I wanted to cheer my heart out for my school while I was there. As the season progressed, I acquired a hardhat and hunkered down with my friends, the hardhat crew (to emulate hard hat pat) which was situated right next to the blue crew and used to out-cheer them with only a handful of rowdy guys. I understood that my hardhat crew was at least the second generation. 2002-2003, we tried to continue the tradition, but our numbers dwindled. By 2003-2004, we were pretty much gone. I still wore my hat, but for the first time in 3 years, actually sat in my assigned seat. I graduated in 2005, but I've been a huge Bills fan since 2001 and I'll never stop.
  10. SLU shooting 60% from the field and down 1.
  11. There are so few fans at this game that you can hear Soderberg screaming on the 590 audio feed.
  12. Great statistical analysis and post. Thanks kwyjibo!
  13. And the beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.
  14. Yeah, he sure is. I was responding to the comment about being able to survive 4 games in 4 days, which is a reference to the conference tournament starting on Wednesday.
  15. Look to see a lot more of JJ, DB, and BH if we build any kind of a lead in game 1.
  16. *bump This upcoming Dayton game is huge for the Bills.
  17. Looks like IV finally found a team he could dominate. All of our players are padding their stats tonight. Although this routing is no big victory, there is something impressive about it... The team is 12 for 13 from the line.
  18. I agree. I think it would do a lot to boost team morale to get Wendell in there and get him some open shots. He deserves it... 4 years without a point scored!?!
  19. Scored 102 points against LaSalle tonight. Clearly, they're trying to make a statement to the committee.
  20. Hopefully the lack of activity on the board means that everyone is at the game supporting our seniors and our team. I don't see Bay Area Billiken or Nashville Billiken among the out of towners on the board tonight though.
  21. Sounds like things are going well. Any other non-regulars getting playing time? P.S. - Who likes my updated Marque Perry Avatar?
