Reported attendance was 6,283. That's fantastic for a mid-week afternoon game. Heck, that's fantastic for any game! In comparison, the game against former #1 and National Powerhouse Uconn only had a reported attendance of 7,100.

We're also a better FT shooting team than Manhattan. (Only Manhattan mind you)

Rankings Updated 1/21: Things of interest: First things first, SLU is receiving three votes. Good to see some recognition. Even if it doesn't relfect in the NET ratings, being ranked or near ranked really strengthens your position come Selection Sunday. Well done boys; you've earned this so far. Florida State dropped out of the rankings, but has the most votes for an unranked team (i.e. #26). And that's it. No other A10 team receiving love. No other opponents ranked or even receiving votes. Certainly hurts our 'quadrant' performance. One other thing I found interesting is Murray State. I see in a lot of the projections, they are within a place or two of us. This is the case here. They received enough votes to be three spots ahead of us. Essentially they are "ranked" #34, and we #37. Is it just me, or does it seem participation in the board is near an all-time high? Steve @SluSignGuy do you track usage metrics? I’d be curious to see how much traffic has been the last few weeks compared to normal.

It’s a big deal because...’sportsmanship’. I’m as big a SLU homer as you’ll find; and I think it was the wrong move. Should it be a BIG deal? Well, no. But trust me, Travis was not ‘Coach Speaking’. thats added fuel for St Joes when we play there this year. I actually do believe in the unwritten rules.
