I'm curious as to how my posting here occasionally... factors in to the SLU fans perceptions of TG? Not sure I follow that logic. I'm a bball fan. I would post here occasionally even if TG did not play ball. I did play and love the game. If Bryant Allen had a family member post here would that make him a better or more attractive recruit? I'm very careful to stay away from posting my feelings on other players and anything that would get back to TG. I don't really mention TG either for that matter. (except in this post) So far.. I've been a pretty good boy. Now I have gotten into it on a couple fishing forums from time to time.. lol... I even do some bragging on those... but figure it's pretty harmless on a fishing forum? It was fun Roy... not much of anything just a quick trip to check out the practice, and watch RM at work.

Got to watch a little of the practice on Sat. RM does not discriminate in practice.. Lots of running for all the guys when they don't hustle, miss a pass, make a silly mistake. Fun to watch. RM never stops teaching..the entire practice he was teaching every minute of it.

I just got some bad news regarding the shootout.. should know more next week.

There is a Stl Shootout Dec. 6th Marshalltown KY Dec 8th. Pepsi one is Dec 22nd in Cape. 3 total. Maybe another for LHS in Peoria Ill too. ?? Not sure yet on that one though.

Cheese.. It was explained to me that .....MSHSAA was dragged into this because he used the US postal service and lied to MSHSAA about where kids lived. That is where the Mail fraud is coming in. I had the same questions you did, how and why would MSHSAA be remotely involved in this.. well.. that is what was explained to me. Anytime you lie or knowingly falsify documents and use the US postal service.. your looking at Mail fraud.. ?? Best answer I got so far anyway. Cg

(KSDK) - Former Vashon High School basketball coach Floyd Irons on Thursday pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud charges in connection with a million dollar mortgage fraud scheme, federal prosecutors said. Co-defendant John Mineo Jr., 47, a Clayton restaurant owner, also pleaded guilty to one felony count of mail fraud. In late 2005, Irons, 60, and an unidentified associate met with Mineo to discuss a scheme to purchase residential real estate for investment purposes, United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway said. Irons and his associate told Mineo they would obtain loans for 10 percent more than the sale price of the properties through Midwest Mortgage Consultants, LLC, the firm at which Irons was employed as a mortgage broker. The additional money would be "kicked back" to the men, Hanaway said. Irons and the associate told Mineo that Irons would be identified as the sole purchaser of the properties. Irons also told Mineo that he and the associate were in business together and the mortgage loans would actually be paid by the associate, Hanaway said. "(Irons and Mineo) both allowed greed to tarnish successful and noteworthy careers. Now they are facing lengthy prison sentences and the prospect of spending many years paying back this ill gotten money," said Hanaway in a prepared statement. ****As part of Irons' plea agreement, he agreed to provide complete and truthful information and assistance to the Missouri State High School Activities Association regarding alleged rule violations, including those related to recruiting, Hanaway said.*****

yea there may be some open gyms this week... and practices now they get some kind of limited work out with the team starting Sept 15th.. I think I heard that they get like some small 1 hour practices now.. something like that.. I could be wrong though.

Actually Mo State was first..I was not here yesterday but they are first on the list. Really has not been that bad... A few knew he was in Portland OR too.. so they probably did not want to waste a call. Once you call and someone answers you are not supposed to call back.. I think that is how it works.

I took my 80 year old father fishing today. We had a great time. Caught a few fish too. Cg First day coach's can call Jr's to be. Tyler got his call from RM!!

I would like V to start hyping my son. Trey Griffey... he's only 6 but I think will be a nice fit in the ......................2018 class. If SLU don't get in on him early they will surely lose out. Maybe we could get a package deal going??? V don't you think they should offer now? He played up last year in the 1st grade St. Albans training league. He is a shoe in!!!

yea... The timing perfect. The way they handled it thru the media was so classy. Going around the AD like he did. Very very professional. They guy knows basketabll for sure.
