The next 2 weeks are going to test the strength of my marriage. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Wife and kids will be ignored a lot until we hire a coach.

I told my wife I'd watch Love Is Blind with her last night. Little did she know I had my earbud in the opposite ear listening to WPB's Spaces last night. Win-Win

  2. I would think if he's gone prior to the conference tournament it is as simple as wanting to avoid any chance of "if we just get hot, we can win this thing."

Xavier had a similar situation with Travis Steele. They knew Miller was coming back and they fired Steele in the middle of the NIT run which they actually ended up winning.

Don't give him any chance no matter how slim it is.

For all of his coaching shortcomings, I find Travis to be extremely likeable.  In any normal setting, he is impossible not to root for.  When he got hired all he did was talk up the school and the city.   Its a bummer that he has tanked so badly.

Results aside, before him we had Crews (aloof and cold), Majerus (grumpy and sometime belligerent), Soderberg (creepily intense), and Romar (total phony).  It was kind of nice having someone as personable as TF at the helm.

So yes, a studio analyst job would be good for him and better for us.

This is probably the first negative thing I've ever heard anyone says with regards to Romar and his time here. Granted I was young at the time, but he was phenomenal I thought. I listen to a lot of NBA podcasts and the amount of people who still speak glowingly about him is incredible.
