  1. Very sad to hear this. Thoughts to his family. We often disagree, but have the love of the game in common. May he Rest In Peace.
  2. So sad and shocked to hear this news. Hal was an awesome guy. So smart, so knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. I really enjoyed the games we watched together. I will think about him every game I go to. Peace Hal, the world is a better place for having you as a part of it.
  3. I am stunned. This is so sad. What a great guy. To be taken from his family and all of us so young. Hard to process. I remember his father in the stands with his hardhat. Makes me stop and reflect on how valuable each day we have is. RIP Justin. Thanks for the memories.
  4. Congratulations!!!!! Great to hear and well-deserved!
  5. Never doubted Coach Ford and his passion for the kids and for winning. Let’s. Go. Team. Blue.
  6. I have two extra tickets for the Butler game in section 107, row 7 which I believe is behind the visitors' (Billikens') bench. Relatively close to the court. PM me if you are interested in buying. Thx.

  8. Joe, that is awesome!!! We just finished SLU 101 for my daughter who will be a freshman. I can hope that I am so lucky to have any of us remembered/honored in this way.
  9. Well, this pretty much confirms the whole aliens breeding with humans conspiracy...
  10. You are obviously missing the point.
  11. "But suddenly, a new contender has emerged..."
  12. Anything you say Head Coach Optimism. BTW - I am not the one telling "Jimmy" how to coach the team.
  13. Well ESJ, you can try something different with the D1 team you coach.
  14. Especially during those two NCAA tournament runs and top 20 rankings...
  15. Let me think about this. I'm a head coach. I have an opportunity to practice and play actual games well ahead of REAL practice and REAL games beginning. I have the opportunity to experiment under game like conditions with NO CONSEQUENCES other than getting great experience for all the players I don't really know that well. Plus, I can get limited minutes and avoid injury to most of the players I already have a good handle on. Yep, I like Crews' strategy and you should too!
  16. The stats show we out rebounded them 35-30. I don't understand how that is getting beat on the boards. On another rebounding note, Reggie had three boards in five minutes so that would clearly suggest an average of 24 rebounds a game...correct?
  17. I can't believe people are even arguing about this. What's the point?
  18. Not sure about how you got "tall" players out of that. I was referring to the comment about recruiting good players as opposed to stars.
  19. Is it fair to say that this is similar to RM's approach?
  20. Stop with this rational thought! Don't you know where you're posting?!?!
