  1. Regardless of what a person's actions or intentions are, one side of the aisle will complain.
  2. While surely a clash of titans, I don't think Texas is ready for the SEC.
  3. Dayton over Ohio State; NC State over the Tar Heels and Duke; and they screwed up Arizona in the graphic. Virginia won the National Championship a couple of years ago, but VCU fans are more passionate? Baylor won this year, but they've got nothing on Texas Tech fans? It's something to talk about, though. So Loyola-Chicago fans wanna know where 'dem DePaul fans at!
  4. They don't get much time for halftime, huh?
  5. Thanks. Kellen Thames definitely has a nose for the ball.
  6. It seems to have improved considerably since you've done that.
  7. I believe @The Wiz has posted before that he does do some wagering based on his formula, but I wouldn't swear to it, and I'm not saying he's necessarily the guy you're referring to
  8. Especially if it's the Spurs! Excellent franchise.
  9. I haven't forgotten. But how does that work? My guess is that after the completion of a normal four-year cycle, the athletes can choose to utilize that extra year — not that 2020-21 "doesn't count" and everyone this year is the same class they were last year. And would the NJCAA recognize what the NCAA says?
  10. Now I'm having some trouble getting the reply text field to open up to reply to posts. Firefox on Windows 10.
  11. Wouldn't mind getting Willie Reed's junior and senior seasons, 11 years later!
  12. You could be right; I just thought the "free" year didn't come until after the normal cycle is complete. That is, last year's freshmen will still be sophomores this year, and not freshmen again; sophomores, juniors; and juniors, seniors. I thought that only after being a senior will they be able to claim their extra year. But I'm just guessing, as well.
  13. It's not a big deal, but @SluSignGuy might want to look into what may be causing them.
  14. It appears to me he completed his sophomore season and will be a junior this upcoming season. Jason Edwin left SLU after two seasons and (if I remember correctly) first went to a juco for school (but not for athletics) before going back to a D-I school.
  15. How can someone who's played two seasons of Div. 1 ball be eligible to play at a junior college?
  16. Bring back Iggy's frozen yogurt! (Doesn't matter; I'm not in the St. Louis area anymore.)
  17. With the bulk and strength Perkins has added, I suspect he'll be guarding those 4's.
  18. Adds up to me: 400 shots made = 100 + 200 + 100. And 400 / 567 = 70.5%
  19. My boss gave my wife and me a pair of tickets to a Cavs game a little while back, and we had a great time. But if anyone offers me tickets to a Browns game, I'll pass. They could be at the 50-yard line, front row, and I'd still say, "No, thank you." I don't watch or pay attention to the NFL — not even the Super Bowl. (I don't even know who won in February — was it the Chiefs, or was that in 2020?) Maybe if the NFL does give St. Louis a team, without giving a current city an undeserved shafting, then I'll get back into following the NFL.
  20. Have we even found out if Williams will be eligible to play this season?
  21. You've been posting for three years, which should be long enough to know that making positive posts about Mizzou is taboo in the eyes of very many Billikens fans here. And whether it's true, or not, I don't know. A "top 20" recruiting class in the SEC could still leave Mizzou near the bottom of the conference. The established powers of that conference usually have even higher-ranked recruiting classes.
