Blue victory light flashing nice and bright after the Belmont win tonight. Could see it easily from the same spot I couldn’t see it after wins earlier in the season.

The jump ball call towards the end of the game cost Hasahn 2 blocks.

It must be burned out or got disconnected during the recent arena lighting upgrade. On my walk back to the sigma lot after games in the past you could easily see it. Not this season. BTW, the lighting upgrade is nice. Much easier on the eyes for fans but the court seems well lit.

Is it burned out? Haven't seen it the last two home victories.

Not to be an alarmist but I expected Perkins to participate in summer workouts. As of this week there are more than half way over.

Whatever their practice shooting percentages translate to in games, hopefully we improve on our 60% team FT last season. Also, any Perkins sightings or news? The longer he is not on campus the better chance he may never show up.

I saw on LinkedIn that a local electrical contractor started the Chaifetz Arena lighting replacement project today. I am sure the new lighting will be great but I think the sound system needed upgrading before the lighting.

No mention isn't good. I wonder if TFord didn't mention him or BenFred chose to leave him out. Seems strange the coach wouldn't mention him while hitting all the other newcomers. I assume he is there practicing.

KJ is my all time favorite Billiken goalie. He back stopped some great teams and was a WALL. Kevin Johnston (Men's Soccer, 1987-90) - Johnston is SLU's all-time winningest goalkeeper with 52 victories in the nets. He posted a career goals against average of 0.90 to rank fifth all time, and his 280 saves are third most in program history. Johnston backstopped the team to NCAA Tournament appearances all four years. He twice posted 18 wins in a season to set the program record, and he holds the record for shutouts in a season with 16. Johnston was a three-time All-Region and All-Conference selection, and he was named to the Billiken All-Half Century team.

My bad, this show was at Enterprise Center last night. They played at the Fetz last time they were in town. Even cooler that he broke out the Billiken jersey there!

The drummer from Tool (Danny Carey) rocking a Billiken Jersey at the Fetz last night. Last time they were in town he wore a KU jersey. Nice to see he has upgraded teams even though he is from Lawerence, Kansas.

Saint Louis University Billikens, Jayson Tatum’s dad and Larry Hughes all get a shout out on during the ceremony to award Jayson his trophy for NBA skills champion. You have to listen closely under all the noise NBA on TNT Twitter goodness, Allie LaForce is a hottie.

FWIW: Ran in to friend this morning. He is NOT a Billiken basketball fan but knows that I am. He is well plugged in to the Webster Groves community including multiple sons that went to high school and remain in contact with Gordon family members. Unsolicited he shared with me that word on the street is that CG is considering transferring to either North Carolina or USC (Southern California). Like I said, FWIW. He also mentioned that CG's former girlfriend that attends SLU was a bigger reason than some suspected in his decision to attend and their subsequent relationship ending made it easier to decide to leave.

and Marty Funkhouser died today too. So sad.

Newberry to Douglas was the BEST SLU alley-oop duo IMO! Cheering that team on was a fun time. Great memories.

Supposedly SIU-C is a decent defensive team with experience. They look the-art tonight. On the road with our best player on a hobbled ankle. Sucks to lose but not that terrible of a loss. Effective In game adjustments are lacking from many head coaches. That was on of my favorite things about RM.

Those smaller shorts TF likes so much sure were noticeable at the Quincy game.

Many of the players shorts were a bit more fitted. Must be the new style rather than long and baggy. Speaking of uniforms, why do men's NCAA teams wear whatever color shoes the player wants but women's teams all wear the same color shoe????? This applies to Billiken teams in addition to others.
