Glad to see you write that. We had some back and forth over the hiring when it happened. I wouldn’t say I was pro Tillett when she was hired but after looking at the resume and hearing her speak, I was definitely liking the hire. Something to be said for actually running a program and building success from nothing as opposed to being a very good asst. There have been good and bad hires both ways, but this one certainly looks like a great decision today. And, I’d have been happy with the year even if we had lost yesterday or today

Are you kidding? She was 6/18 and 1/5. I understand that’s one of her better shooting games but for all other players in D1 33% FG% and 20% from 3 is not good. It’s downright awful and she brings nothing else to the game. Just the ability to throw the ball at the basket more times in a game than anyone else

Yea. They just showed 12 offensive boards for RI and just 2 points off them. That won’t continue if we keep giving them up. Plus Brooke had a nice half but missed 3 basically unguarded layups. As I type this RI comes out with all the energy and cuts the lead to 11 in under 2 minutes. The announcer called McMakin McMissin yesterday, a truer word has never been spoken. Please sit her down

What a start for the women. 21-6 after the 1st qtr. There is literally not a comfortable moment with the ball for a Billiken opponent. They don’t shoot well but they get after you every second. 100% buy in. Julia Martinez is so fun to watch. If I were going to a brawl, I’m not sure there’s another Bill man or woman I’d rather have on my side. She’ll just find a way. Brooke is intimidating inside and can score a bit. Payton Kennedy has really come on lately. She can shoot it and really score. Kennedy Calhoun makes the whole thing go especially on defense. She’s just gets up in you and causes havoc
