Are you guys watching this NEB clawed back to 63 to 62. NEB guy blocks the KU players shot but the refs call a phantom foul! It isn't just SLU that gets jobbed. 29.1 sec left.

NEB now down 6. I'd like for them to pull this out for my team esteem purposes. It would make me feel better about SLU and help RPI a little bit (as if that matters).

I wish I could make it to see Remuken play. They played my neighborhood high school (Keller) this season but it was at a tournament not near me. The Metroplex is huge and Mesquite is waaaay out there for me. District play is going on now and then playoffs. Just looking at Mesquite's roster it seemed they probably had one of the best teams in the state with about 4 going to D1 schools. I can't remember all of the destinations. SLU Soccer has been recruiting DFW consistently. It seems SLU has been recruiting regular students from the Catholic Schools as well especially Jesuit. I heard they plan to build another Catholic High School in my area Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville area.

I'm not letting this year get to me. Prior to the season I'm always hoping for the Billikens to make a run into the tournament but I didn't think it would really happen. I'm ok with this season as I know it is a rebuilding year 8 new players! The main reason I'm ok with this season is that it is alot like the last 8 seasons. We will probably be right above .500 but this time we are doing it with 8 freshman and before we did it with SRs, JRs, Sophs. I thought Rick had a magic wand but I've read the Sporting News article and realized it was only six inches. Ain't too much you can get with that (right ADPis) so I'll have to wait for the team to develop.

What about T Lisch in the WNBA? They haven't folded yet have they? She would be drafted right? Living in Europe can be fun and maybe she could play over there too. Do they have women's pro-ball? Losing her would be a big blow to a team that could do something next year. We have freshman in the backcourt this year and presuming they return with TL (the A10 leading scorer) and Kemsys they could be good.

I don't agree with that. The intensity has been there it is just that RU hit every shot they threw up in the 1st half. SLU is playing tougher D this half and not every shot is falling for RU.
