We need to just keep digging and scratching and clawing to get the job done. That’s how the guys have got it done this year, after losing their first conference game. It’s not gonna be easy .But it’s doable. You are correct, we need sustained success. That’s right what I mean by becoming the Gonzaga of the A10. It starts next game! And the game after that! We need to become the Gonzaga of the A10. Get that kind of respect. Yes, just win, baby. Recruit to be the best….in the Big East. Win recruiting wars with X, Marquette, etc. We beat Providence, Memphis. Need Yuri and GJ to stay another year. Get the best HANDS big man in the portal, someone anxious to receive Yuri zingers. To me, the wild card is Brock Vice, the freshman. Im seeing BZ more as an outside guy, just from the few videos we’ve seen. How ready will they be? Will they be ahead of MoMo? Can MoMo add 15 lbs this off season? It is attitude, boys. Let’s whip up on FU, then attack the rest of the season.

I got to know THicks going to the monthly Billiken Club meetings at Humphreys. Cordial, knowledgeable, a gentleman. i thought he monitored the Board with an even hand, especially during turbulent times. I always chuckled when he would correct a poster’s grammar. Stickler for details. Even during the most heated back and forths, he would comment on an incorrect there/their. RIP THicks, you were a good man

Roy Last year GJ 3pt % was .42 This year .36. I would call that a significant drop. Now his backdoor cuts have increased and his defense, though middling, has improved. mhg

I was referring to the mascot. Theirs was more lively, danced sround alot. Helped get the crowd going. Head gear is smaller, might be the issue

I was there. Looked lije there was a scarf giveaway for the kids. They were pumped til we went ahead late in first half. Heard nothing in the second half. Band was good. Mascot was awesome. Danced with the band music. Ours could learn some things there. Best part was being with blue clad fans, yelling and supporting our team. mhg

Other than it’s the Chaifetz’ group, what exactly is the SLU connectipn here?

I wonder if the MLP matches will be held at Chaifetz Arena. Would be a win win for SLU and the Shock

I bought game tickets and the reception through the Billiken website. They confirmed, took my $$. I’ve yet to have any communication regarding the reception or the tickets. anyone else having similar difficulties? MHG.

Ran into a fan today at lunch. Never met him before. Spoke to him at length about Billikens.com. Told him, as I say to anyone else, the chat room is like sitting at a bar with 20 friends talking about yr favorite team. He will check out the Board and might join. I mentioned THJ recent revelation. We agreed that when 2 individuals discuss a third, they would talk differently if the third individual were standing right there vs not present. I thought this interesting, and will attempt to follow this guideline and see where it leads me. mhg
