Any All Time Billiken Team that doesn't have Harry Rodgers in the starting five is just wrong.Easy Ed and Bob Ferry are before my time but I would argue with anybody that Harry was the best billiken since. Larry would have been better but he only played one year. Harry played point guard on offense and a lot of center on defense. I can't believe anyone who saw him play would disagree with this.

I thought that was interesting when they subbed Kyle for Willie on the last 2 offensive posessions. Who would you want shooting free throws with the game on the line? Kyle or Willie? Just asking.

I think Kyle has huge upside but he is going to have matchup problems. He has not shown the ability to stop dribble penetration of quick 6-3-6-4 guards. I'm sure he can improve on his footwork but at times he will be giving away quickness.

If you had beaten DePaul you would have probably lost to Creighten. Might have helped the RPI but not won -loss record.

I think the RI game might be the most important game of the year. It would continue the momentum of our win streak, followed by a couple of home games which could be winable. Then you play a weak St. Bonnies. You could have an 8 games win streak which would certainly cause a buzz about this team. It would be nice to have people talk about the Bills. Ok" Let's get it started. Paul E is a terrible defensive player. He doesn't have the physical ability to stop anybody off the dribble. He has been tourched the last few games on dribble penetration. For the life of me I can't figure out why RM has put him in for defensive reasons.

At the last Tip_Off meeting Bonner said he had an opportunity to go to work for the Knicks in their community out reach dept. I think Chris Sloan might be it's head. I don't know if this is why he is resigning.

Scott Thornle{the ref] is an egotistical ass. I don't think he had any idea of what happened so he just calls a T. He had no idea if the kid did it on purpose or not. Bills fans should remember him as the ref who called the ticky tac calls that helped beat us at Columbia.

While all of the situations you describe are possible I have never seen them happen,on the otherside how many times have you seen shots like Kevin's tie games. I'm sorry but coaches who refuse to foul when the game is under 6 or 7 seconds deserve to lose.

Bidwill is a jerk but back in the day he use to give money to the Athletic Dept. It was always done quietly. I don't know if he still contributes but the guy supposedly still suports St. Louis charities.

I think Brian will figure out how to score at the college level. Currently he just tries to power the ball up into bigger defenders. The good news is that he's getting fouled,the bad news is he can't get a field goal. All in all I think he's had a good freshman year.

I also wonder about how much time we spend on watching tape. If the NCAA limits the time you can spend on basketball how much of that is devoted to tape? I can invision RM droning on in the locker room when that time might be better spent shooting free throws. Don't get me wrong, I'm convinced Rick will take us to the promised land, but he does have his quirks.
