A lot was made about SLU's initial plans to demo the buildings a couple of years ago. It's certainly germane to this story.

I didn't see that as a "shot at SLU" as much as reporting what preservationists were saying about SLU. Their quotes and impressions about SLU are pretty fair, given the history of its expansion in Midtown. Like it or not, SLU did get rid of a significant residential neighborhood. Since then, the school has torn down a lot of buildings for surface parking lots that go mostly unused. There's nothing even remotely out of bounds said about SLU in this brief article.

That is great news about the burger bar, though I see no reason why the author needed to take a shot at SLU. The University should not be in the business of preserving historic buildings.

Last year after an amazing season we finished the year with a 4-game losing streak. We completely ran out of gas. We are currently on a season long 4-game losing streak. They have one more weekend at home to regroup/refresh. The good news is that Hayden Moore returned from injury yesterday and had a couple of hits. The bad news is our mid-week pitching was exposed again. We are going to need to win our first two conference tournament games with LONG starts by Kelly and Cunningham if we hope to have any chance of winning it all. We have a ton of arms but most are sooo inconsistent/mostly bad. This year we dont quite have the offense to power through that deficiency. First mission - take care of business this weekend against GW, who has to win a few to make the tournament.

Those that visit Fayetteville say it's nice and modern.
