I didn't see that as a "shot at SLU" as much as reporting what preservationists were saying about SLU. Their quotes and impressions about SLU are pretty fair, given the history of its expansion in Midtown. Like it or not, SLU did get rid of a significant residential neighborhood. Since then, the school has torn down a lot of buildings for surface parking lots that go mostly unused. There's nothing even remotely out of bounds said about SLU in this brief article.
