  1. The holes are two rotation players. They might not start, but saying they are on the bench downplays their significance.

  2. SLU has a few new 2022 commitments: 2022 Karson Gibbs committed to SLU. He is a Forward who played at Fort Zumwalt South High School where he was part of 3 Missouri Class 3 State Title Teams. He scored 113 goals in high school, including at times when “slowed” by a meniscus injury. He is the current Stl Post Dispatch Metro Player of the Year, and, a United Soccer Coaches All American. Most recently he has played with stlCITY2 this Spring. He has also previously played club ball with SLSG and Sporting Stl. Strong technically on the ball, excels 1v1, with the ball at his feet or in space. He’s played a lot of attacking midfield in club ball, and, he is a very good passer too. …………………… 2022 Bryce Warhaft, a Defender from Indy Eleven has also committed to SLU. Prior to Indy Eleven, the well traveled Warhaft has also played academy ball with Indiana Fire U19 Academy, Sporting KC, Orlando City, and, Weston FC. (He is from Weston, FL) Bryce does a little bit of everything well as a defender. He is a two footed Center Back who can also play on the outside. Distributes, tackles, and can get up the field in the attack.

  3. Rashad Williams to Pine Bluff per Twitter. I guess he was the Player To Be Named Later in the Deandre Jones trade.

  4. I liked Traore, his energy is hard to match. That being said, if we were wanting to be legit next year, we we going to need a player better than him to back up okoro. Ford knows that, and Im sure either Traore knew that too, or Ford told him that. Traore was going to be the 3rd big next year as well.

  5. Sure doesn't feel that way, and it's hard to get anxious considering we've swung and missed on our initial targets. I think concern is absolutely a fair emotion among the fanbase.

  7. Yes there are limitations on how long one can be a Graduate Assistant. They have to be enrolled in a graduate program and have to be making progress towards their masters degree. Typically it is a two year max term, but under some situations it can extend to three. I'm not sure if their is much compensation directly from the basketball program as a salary except for the grad school tuition and fees. GA's can make money elsewhere, or likely in camps. Roby is listed as an enrolled Student in People Finder. There is also a seven year window of time when a student with a bachelor's degree can serve as a GA. I'm not sure, but i don't think Conklin fits into that window.

  9. Reasons I am going to complain about the hire - There is no one from St. Louis on her staff - Stone didn't always have one either, she did have regional people on her staff and when she first got here she did have a local there. No attempt by Tillet here. She's reproduced her staff from Longwood - A HOF coach can bring all their people in to every stop, most don't do this though. A coach at her level really can't. She has though. This also show that maybe she limited connections in the industry as well, not a good thing. She's posted the team doing meditation during practice on social media - We have a set amount of time for player development every week, lets work on basketball skills instead of namaste, JMHO. The one Asst coach she hired is clownish - Not making fun of looks here. Her promotional photo she is wearing a bow tie and a mens suit jacket with the tags still on it. I know the culture is different in womens Bball, but this is the equivalent of a man wearing random baseball hat with the sticker on the bill in his photo. To some who say this is a cool look for young people and I'm too old, its not a cool look and I'm not that old. Another Asst coach is from Chicago St - I know she worked with Tillet before but Chicago St is the worst run AD in D-1. I'm not touching anyone they hire. All the transfers she brought in are from Longwood - Again this shows a lack of connections and a lack of recruiting skill. There are only so many players she can bring in from Longwood. This hire reeks of SLU being cheap - This is out of Tillets control but they are all interconnected and this is my overriding concern. I think MMP put it best, May made this hire because he thinks he can get more out of the program with the same level of commitment. I thought SLU was past this level of thinking. .

  10. Relax old guy. I just think it's a cool idea. And an actual NIL the way it's supposed to be used... I guess. I understand it's not that simple.
