Parties at The Box ( That's how us insiders refer to Box's party pad ) are always a great time. Last time I was there he had a cocaine room, $6.50 hookers, 3 whiskey bong stations, a naked room for those that just like to party naked, and best of all a Basketball Country story hour. If indeed there is a party at the Box, you do not want to miss it. If you show up come on in the naked room and say hi, as I'll be there most of the night.

We know Coach Ford loves him some 8 man rotation. Deandre Jones is shooting 43% from three and has only turned the ball over 4 times the entire season. He's doing everything you could want from an 8th man. What would be the rationale for playing Williams?

That Columbia University study released yesterday suggests that Omicron is pretty vaccine resistant. The good news when it comes to the Billikens is that I have seen reports that previous infection is still believed to provide robust immunity to omicron. Now if one of the new guys get it, we might have to miss a game, but at least it looks like their is a decent chance that will be it. That said, this all depends on our opponents not having to shutdown.

It is the same reason we have spikes in the south in the summer. People spend massive amounts of time in poorly ventilated areas to avoid uncomfortable temperatures. I have a feeling many of these games are getting canceled not because of massive breakouts on teams, but because they moved away from the pod practice system they had last season. Now if one guy gets it, the whole team and staff have to quarantine.

As the temperatures drop toward freezing, the Covid cases spike. I'm glad the toughest games in our conference schedule are backloaded. My hope is if we get hit, it's a two week pause and not a month.

the bad news about flo hoops is the exorbitant price per game. The good news is everyone fuoking hates them so finding a pirate stream is easy as pie.

Just to piggyback on what you've said, both guys have legit court vision. Steffe, according to the Texas recruiting gurus, is a pure shooter who can create his own shot. He also has a nose for rebounds, despite being an average leaper. Bizjack, while still a very good shooter, is a notch below Steffe. He's also smaller, quicker and and more adept at breaking down defenders. Either guy would be a great fit.

I do not know if this has any significance or not, but it appears that Auburn plays more players 10+ min per game than SLU does. Out of 11 games played since the start of their season, Auburn has used 9 players 10+ minutes in 7 games, and 8 players 10+ minutes in 4 games. Out of 11 games played since the start of the season, SLU has used 12 players 10+ minutes in 1 game, 11 players 10+ minutes in 1 game, 10 players 10+ minutes in 1 game, 8 players 10+ minutes in 6 games, and 7 players 10+ minutes in two games (the last two games played against Belmont, and BC). I do not know how to interpret this except by assuming that playing 9 players 10+ min per game regularly, may give Auburn additional flexibility in their play, and may possibly increase match up problems for their opponents. SLU is showing a tendency to play only 7 players 10+ min per game over the last two games played.

Overall, Auburn plays more players 10+ min/game for a shorter amount of time per player/game (19.97 min). Over the last 3 games Auburn has played an average of 9 players 10+ min/game (13.48 min average/game), and SLU has played an average of 7.33 players 10+ min/game (26.51 min average/game). In my opinion using more 10+ min players per game for a lower amount of time each (when compared to SLU), may provide increased flexibility to Auburn, and result in increased match up problems for SLU. This is based upon an analysis of all the games played this season by both teams, as well as the last 3 games played by both teams.

Memphis is not in Auburn’s league. They could very well return to the Final Four. I’d be pleasantly surprised if the game is close.
