Conklin is going to kick the tires again in Europe. If he gets a good offer he doesn't go back to Australia this season. Jett is going to stay down under but I doubt if he is back on Illawarra. I don't think either Conklin or Jett enjoyed their roles. Jett was definitely on a 1 year deal and is no longer on the Hawk roster. Jett showed he can play again last year and he was never in good shape because of nagging injuries. If he can really get in top shape he could blow up in the league. Conklin has to play a lot of center in Australia and in Europe he usually plays a 3 or 4. I don't think he wants to bang around with Andrew Bogut another season. He's done very well in PR and will get some looks in France or Spanish top leagues this upcoming season.

SLU has offered about 70 players in the 2019 class. Giving each his own thread seems like something someone with a Kansas education would do.

Looks like Lok Wur has narrowed his choices to Creighton, Hawaii, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech. Disappointing for us, but best of luck to him! Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere.

Agreed. SLU has to offer them. Once they indicate they're not interested, then SLU can move on. Even if they're not going to consider us, SLU has to show they're serious about the top local players. No bad can come from being involved with all of them.

Chris Bruch announced his transfer from the University of Wisconsin to SLU. He has 3 years remaining. He played his first two high school years at Peoria Notre Dame before before playing two years with St. Louis FC Academy. Had a breakout goal scoring year there. Former U Wisconsin camper. John Trask has had a lot of success recruiting St. Louis kids over the years at his various stops. Prior to St. Louis FC academy, Bruch spent several years with St. Louis Scott Gallagher. He will be playing with several familiar teammates and coaches. He will provide depth up front at forward as well as midfield for SLU.

BC was the third opponent (including an exhibition game with UMSL) in Chaifetz Arena. It was a 53-50 grinder but a fun game nonetheless. That was the back end of a home-and-home from the prior season; BC beat us at their place 61-39 in late 2007. Woof. We played again on a neutral court in 2011, the first of three wins in that Anaheim Classic that we won (Villanova and Oklahoma were the next two wins to seal the title). Somehow those are the only three times we've ever played BC. Games against teams in the bottom halves of their power conferences are going to be good for us this coming season. Good for SOS without being beaten up. K-State and Seton Hall are both going to be very competitive in their conferences.

Well that solves it Father B, you definitely prefer the KU board and you are aware of the way things are done there. My understanding is that you have been a member in the SLU board for a number of years and never posted much if anything. However you appear to have great knowledge about the KU board. Maybe, you should stay in the KU board rather than try to change us into something that resembles they way they do things. Just saying, are you a KU fan or a SLU fan? By the way, none of the quotes you made above show that LOK WUR is or will be a game changer anywhere, KU or SLU. So what if some KU MBM wants him, and another one thinks he is exiting as a prospect. These are personal opinions, like yours. They prove nothing.
