    The good news is was our best adjusted offensive efficiency performance of the season

    Second game in a row (not counting Principia) where our adjusted defensive efficiency has been way below the D1 average. Today was even worse than New Hampshire. That is a little worrisome.

    None of the clubs that started that way are still tied to the academic institution or the amateur athletic club that founded the team.

    Eventually D1 sports will become like the European amateur sports club and college clubs of a century plus ago that became many of the European professional soccer and basketball teams of today. You can’t put the Genie back in the bottle.

    If you want amateur sports in college with a focus on academics watch D3 sports and push for your school to move to D3. That thing hasn’t disappeared, but it just isn’t what 95% of the people actually want. Most people at least right now want this even while they complain about it.

    So you would consider the current WCC and MWC a power conference?

    The PAC 12 isn’t going to be power conference. It will be the equivalent of the current MWC. They don’t have the quality, the markets or the brands of the old PAC 12.
