I just noticed this. How come I am the only poster with 0 warning points notation under their name?

What do I need to do to get a warning point?

You can only see it for your own name. I'd also like to get some warning points. What can we exchange them for once we accrue them?

I've been looking for warning points at yard sales this summer. No luck so far.

I knew a girl with points all her own, sitting way up high. I was warned about messing with them ... could that be it?

Truman State is the former Northeast Missouri State located in Kirksville. Northwest Missouri State is in Maryville and still goes by that name. University of Central Missouri used to be known as Central Missouri State University and is in Warrensburg. I actually spent a couple of weeks one summer there in high school when I went to Boys' State (anyone else do this in high school?)

Out of the five 'State' schools, it looks like only Northwest Missouri State and SEMO have yet to go through a name change.

Bizzle, I did Boys State in 1988. Hadn't thought about that in years.

You should have kept working on your night moves, Skip.

I did Boys State in Florida in 1996.
Coach: Look Scotty, I know what you're going through. Couple years back, a kid came to me much the same way you're coming to me now, saying the same thing that you're saying. He wanted to drop off the team. His mother was a widow, all crippled up. She was scrubbing floors. She had this pin in her hip. So he wanted to drop basketball and get a job. Now these were poor people, these were hungry people with real problems. Understand what I'm saying?

Scott Howard: What happened to the kid?

Coach: I don't know. He quit. He was a third stringer, I didn't need him.

It just means you haven't made any grammatical errors or Thicks would have dinged you with Warning Points

Mrs. And Won did Girls State. I refer to it as Girls Town. She does not think that's as funny as I do.

I went in 1993. My town was Coontz. Our motto was 'Can't lick a Coontz!' We also came up with a hand signal for our 'cittizens', where one would create a diamond shape with both thumbs and index fingers. I still giggle like a stupid teenager when I think about it.

It sounds like warning points are a good thing... maybe if you get enough of them you can cash them in for travel deals.

You're probably right, that makes perfect sense.

Steve, how many warning points until I can get a Mediteranean Cruise?

No one has any warning points unless a moderator has taken disciplinary action against him. It says "0 warning points" for each of you.

As for those of you giving me heck about an occasional mention of grammar, I protest! For one thing, I'm not the one who's been given the title "Official billikens.com proofreader." For another thing, when Jimbo does it — and he's done it more often than I have lately — you all think it's funny and praise him. I'm beginning to wonder if you all have it in for me.

Jimbo, give him 5 warning points for whining.

If Jimbo had that kind of power around here, you all would be best to hide the women and children!

I'm now the proud owner of a warning point. :) However, I still don't know what I can trade it for or how many I need to get a nice Mediteranean Cruise
