  1. All I have to say is this is a lot more exciting than the just finished season. Hope springs eternal!
  2. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/umass-returning-to-mac-as-full-member-for-all-sports-beginning-in-2025-after-10-year-absence-from-league/
  3. Nice interview by St. Louisan and Rammer's buddy Rob Fischer.
  4. I would go to watch a crappy team with Yuri on it- he was one of the most entertaining basketball players I've ever seen. Going to watch this team doesn't even cross my mind at this point- I'm completely checked out. I'd much rather watch paint dry. I'm only checking the board hoping we fired Ford today- no luck so far.
  5. Well I guess I'm glad I came! Let's finish this thing out- looks like GJ wants this one
  6. It's my first game since early December, and I'm ready to leave right now.
  7. Basketball is entirely about taking advantage of teams not as talented as you.
  8. Jimerson hasn't been swishing his threes- is he really a good shooter?
  9. Yeah, everything has been working so well for us I guess it's just time to stay the course and keep beating our heads against a wall.
  10. All I'm saying is the next time a Larry Hughes/ Jayson Tatum level recruit comes along that we have a we're not taking no for an answer amount of money set aside for it. Would it be a one year joy ride- probably, but it would certainly be fun. St. Louis is a big enough basketball hotbed that you're going to get that player once a decade at least.
  11. I think we might all be looking at nil the wrong way- that is we need to play the long game instead of gnashing our teeth year to year. The Billiken victory fund, or whatever the hell it is called, should be saving and investing it's money so that the next time a real superstar player emerges from St. Louis we have the money to pay him and fill in around him. That's the best chance we have to make our mark on the national scene. Sort of a Houston Astros approach as compared to a Cardinals approach. We might need to live in the desert for awhile and experience pain as a fan base- lord knows we've done it before.
  12. Byron Larkin and Stan Kimbrough
  13. Actually a pretty easy name- I would imagine George Kerchik would do for a pronunciation. Let's hope he plays like Drazen Petrovic.
