Rebounding definitely seemed to be an issue. We have to want it. On the good side only 6 TOs and forced 17. I realize FT's look bad, but really the numbers overall are pretty decent if you take Jett's 0-4 out. Evans 9-12, Glaze 4-6,Manning 2-2 for 75%. Jett's misses were just obvious and at a key time.

At the end of the day, it's a road win. I'll take as many as I can get!!!

Sounds like JC is happy with the win. I guess road win is always a very good thing, nonetheless, this was an ugly way to win. I hope that Rob Loe came away tonight understanding that he CAN be a major force and leader on this team when someone needs to step up. That was a gutsy move on his part. No way was that a called play for a 7 footer like Rob to slash into the paint and try to score.

Of course, if we had lost, the board would be calling for Rob's head. Way to take it in Rob!!!

Marquee perry at DePaul in 2003

"ROSEMONT, Ill. - Saint Louis senior guard Marque Perry drove the length of the floor for a lay-up with two seconds left to beat DePaul 62-61 in a Conference USA game this afternoon at Allstate Arena. Perry scored the Bills last four points as Saint Louis rallied from a nine-point deficit with nine minutes to play."

On my way home from the game. Very exciting game, though incredibly frustrating. Officials took all the flow out of the game once we went up 12-3. Totally handcuffed us defensively.

Can't believe we let them back in it. After the Jett putback/Barnett 3 combo we should've been able to keep them at bay with a 9 point lead.

Good win on the road, loud fans for a 5k seat arena. Decent SLU showing in my section behind the bills bench.

On to the next one. Would like to get a few more double digit wins in here before the end of the year. Tonight could've had the makings of a blowout road win which would've been nice.

I stand corrected. It sure felt like a walk off.

An Insider told me Keith Carter is transferring back to SLU

An insider told me Cody is petitioning for another year of eligibility and is likely to get it. Oh, and Willie Reed has re-enrolled and will be eligible for conference season.
